Kan Tae Jun's POV
"Lord Kan Tae Jun! A soldier patrolling near the front gates of Fuuga reported that he may have seen two young ladies with striking red hair, and a man resembling that of the 'thunder beast' of Kouka! According to his testimony, it seems that the group appeared to be heading out to the northern mountains"
The young soldier spoke with his head bowed in respect of my position as the son of their lord. After hearing the words 'striking red hair' and 'thunder beast', I immediately turned my attention to him and asked, "The northern mountains? Isn't that place close to where we are?"
Soldier: "Yes it is Lord Kan Tae Jun"
Kan Tae Jun: "I see... That group... they must have been the one we've been looking for"
Grinning in delight, I gazed by the far distance; chuckling as I command the soldier, saying, "Send all of our troops to surround the northern mountains. Only follow them in a safe distance, the main goal is to find out their purpose for coming to the northern mountains. Remember, if that group is truly General Hak, (Y/n) and Princess Yona, we might wound up in a bigger trouble if you follow too close.
"Yes my lord!"

Your POV
The northern mountains is a place surrounded by mountain ranges and a 50 ft. cliff that has an endless forest below that stretches out up until a total of 10 kilometers near the Kingdom of Kouka.
After walking for a great while now, trying to find the legendary priest of Kouka felt as if we were trying find a needle pin on a sparse ocean.
Letting out a long sigh, I was starting to space out as I walk behind Hak and Yona when my left foot suddenly slipped off near the edge of the 50 ft. cliff, snapping me back to reality.
"Ah-!"
Suddenly pulling me close to his side, Hak worriedly asked if I hurt my foot, saying, "Don't walk too close to the edge" as he crouched down to my left foot, checking if I sprained my foot.
"I-It's ok, I was just clumsy"
Placing my left foot away from him, I immediately fixed the way I stood, avoiding as much as possible from putting too much weight on my left foot as I suppress myself from showing a pained reaction to the throbbing pain, thinking--I guess I did sprain my foot...
Hak: "Do you want me to carry you?"
(Y/n) "Thank you for the offer but my foot is really fine, don't worry and don't think about it too much, I can still walk on my own."
After a long pause, Hak have finally spoke up, saying, "Ok then be careful from now on"
"I will"

Your POV
Half an hour later, we still haven't made any progress in finding out where the priest's place is when we suddenly heard a twig snap from behind and saw a small rock fall from above us.
"W-What was that?"
Yona anxiously darted her head around, suddenly terrified of what may have been following us.
"Yona, calm down-"
Cutting me midway from speaking, an arrow have suddenly launched at where I stood, making a clear cut on my right cheek.
