"I am starving, make some pasta, will you?"
"Why don't you do it?"
"I am in a very intense 'Halo' battle right now,"
"Crawley!"
"What? It's important,"
"Do you realize how much I do around here!?"
"Jake, calm down. We are on our holidays!"
"Has anything good happened on this holiday?"
"Well, we're not going back to our own world,"
These are the bickerings of Crawley and Jake, two heroes of their world. They came to reality on a holiday as they found themselves rescuing the Princess Lucy too often for their liking.
Evil in their world was bored without the challenge and two henchmen named Eoin and Ben were tasked to retrieve them.
The holiday went even worse again when Princess Lucy decided to run to reality as well! The stress was unbearable for Crawley and Jake.
"Hey guys," A girl made her way into the house, Molly was her name. Friendship could be used to describe their relationship with her but they found her extremely irritating. She was from a different world as well. She came from a place where the people spent days trying to catch weird and strange animals. Molly brought this obsession with her to the real world.
"What do you want?" Crawley got up from the couch and switched off the Xbox.
"Do you want to go...Catch them all?!" She asked dramatically, holding her fist up.
"No!" Jake whined, almost desperately.
"Oh.." Molly sighed, looking down.
"Was there anything else?" Crawley said impatiently.
"Oh yeah, Eoin and Ben are outside, they're pretty pissed," Her enthusiasm returned quickly.
"Ugh," Jake groaned, the three of them going out to the porch.
"We've told you time and time again," Crawley stated tiredly, "We are staying here!"
"Fight me!" Ben yelled, waving his fists around.
"Ben stop, you're embarrassing me," Eoin tried to pin his fists down by his sides.
"Ah...I'm so scared," Jake said sarcastically.
The pair froze and looked over.
"Anyway," Eoin said, "We swore we would bring you back by any means necessary,"
Jake and Crawley exchanged glances before holding their palms out in front of them and fire launched out, knocked over the two henchmen.
"Hahaha...well I gotta got catch em all!" Molly grinned and walked away.
"Y'know Jake, I don't think she was any help during that fight at all," Crawley said.
Jake merely nodded before notices Ben and Eoin arising from the grass.
"You'll be sorry you never came with us in the first place!" Eoin yelled, "You'll be sorry! Come on stupid, let's go,"
"Don't call me that," Ben scolded at him as they walked away.
Barely a second of peaceful silence went by for Jake and Crawley fore a girl was now running at them, a letter in her hand.
"Lucy!" Crawley ran over.
"It's a letter from Patrick!" She said, handing the envelope to him.
"What?" Jake said, watching Crawley opening up the letter.
"Crawley, Jake," Crawley began reading aloud, "Reality is in great danger, I would join you there but for reasons I can't explain I have been detained. I want to say more but out of fear that this letter will fall into the wrong hands, all I can say is this; the shadows hold the key."
