Jack sat alone in the field, mulling over his life.
"What am I doing? I don't even know what I am," He growled, getting frustrated, "Am I trying to take over the world? ...No, I don't think so," He sighed, "I don't know what I'm doing anymore,"
"Don't you want to kill Campbell?" A girl's voice said from behind him.
"Yes," He grinned, turning to see Aoibhín making her way towards him, "I may have been robbed of my chance to kill him the first couple of times but this time, he will die," The he chuckled darkly, "It's nice to see you didn't die,"
"I learned a thing or two about myself," She sat in front of him.
"Is that so?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Turns out I'm like you,"
"That you are," Jack smirked.
"I still have no idea what is going on. I would like you to do some proper explaning," She got back up again.
"Where are you going?" He looked at her. Her departure felt quite sudden to him, She had just gotten back and she was leaving again.
"Back to the house, I want to kill David," She joked.
"He's psychic, I'm sure he told Jake you're alive," Jack called after her.

***
"David? What is it?" Jake asked him.
"I got a vision, Lucy and Molly have been defeated," He told him gravely.
"What? No!" Jake's face filled with mounting horror.
"They had a run in with Campbell," David continued.
"Dammit, this is all my fault!" He clamped his eyes shut, "I never should've sent them out there,"
"Jake this isn't your fault," David placed a hand on his shoulder.
"What if they die because of me?" He hurried his face in his hands, "And where the Hell is Aoibhín?"
David gulped, "Well..."
"Well what?" Jake looked up at him.
"I'm here actually," She ran down from the fort, as if on cue.
"Where have you been?!" Jake engulfed her in a bone-crushing hug.
"You're alive!" David basically gasped.
"Yes I am no thanks to you," She said over Jake's shoulder.
"Wait.. what?" Jake let go of her and faced David, "You knew where she was?"
"..I..um, I may have been aware," David's eyes darted around their sockets nervously.
"But I'm back now," Aoibhín said cheerfully, it didn't distract them though.
"What happened? Why did you go? Where did you go?" Jake grabbed her by the shoulders, "Were you with The Shadows?"
"No but it won't make a difference now," She tried to wriggle free.
"David, where was she?" He ordered firmly.
"..She..she went to Ronan," David stuttered.
"What?" Jake's eyes widdened.
"I'm not working with him, I swear!" Aoibhín exclaimed in a panic.
"I made her leave," David said loudly, "Made her give herself up. I thought he would kill her,"
"What?!" Jake's roared at him.
"I thought she was dangerous," David attempted to defend himself, "She's not human,"
"I am dangerous, I'm not human," Aoibhín said but it was more directed at Jake than David, "And I wouldn't know what I am capable of if David didn't send me away,"
"Since when aren't you human?! Look at you, you're fine, why would you think that?!" It was getting to the point where neither of them knew who he was yelling at, "I can't believe you would send her away like that! One of our own!"
"He was protecting everyone!" Aoibhín held him back, "We clearly have more pressing issues than this right now. I'm back, everything else is irrelevant now,"

***
"Cody? Where are you?!" Crawley looked around frantically for her.
"I'm talking to you in your head, no one else can hear me," Cody said, "The sword is still connected to Patrick's spirit, he's the only one who's can use it,"
"But Ronan threw him in the Abyss,"
"Right, so Patrick is not an option. The issue is that even if you had the sword, you are not strong enough to wield it," Cody told him.
"Not strong enough?"
"More metaphorically than physically,"
"Okay?" Crawley made a face at the vagueness.
"We need to try something..." Cody paused to think, "I'm going to teach you some basic sorcery,"
"I'm gonna learn spells?" Crawley's face broke out in a beaming smile.
"Eh... no. It's more complicated than that," She said, "You'll have good hunches about people and things,"
"Oh, so I'll be wiser,"
"Exactly, sorcery will help strengthen your spirit. I'm hoping it will be enough to take the sword, it may forget Patrick,"
"It's a long shot but I'll try anything," Crswley shrugged.
"Then we shall start immediately,"
