3rd person point of view*
Lily wanders into the race room. Her eyes wander over the signup sheet. "Hmmm Fearless could do this. She has the speed." So on that day Lily signed Fearless up for a race. She would race that afternoon in a race againdt 4 other horses. All of the others were big tim winner but Lily knee Fearless could beat them.
*time pass to time before race. 1 hour before post time*
Lily's point of view
My jocket outfit was on. Crop in hand. And helment on head. Tom volunteered to lead Fearless for her. Before the paddock Lily's feet walked into the barn.
3rd person point of view
Fearless was tacked up and ready to go. Lily's hands wrapped around her neck and she gave her a hug. "All horses and jockeys to paddock for Race number 10," the announcer called out. Tom grapped fearless's reign. Lily ran to the jockey room and got lined up. The announcer called the achievements and who they would be riding. "Lily is riding a mare named Fearless. She trained this horse on her own, so lets see if it paid off today!" the announcer called out. Minutes passed and everyone mounted on. Lily got a leg up from Tom and the horses were headed to the field. Riders in back. *time pass* All horses in gaits. Getting anxious for speed. Needing it. Wanting it. Then... The gaits flew open. The horses lunged out. Galloping at top speed. Fearless and Lily were out first. Challenge, the top horse in the field, pulled forward grabbing first from Fearless. fearless didnt want that though. Without a cue from Lily. Fearless took off. She went ahead of Challenge. They were no at the 400 meter mark and she was 6 strides ahead. Tom shouted from the crowds. Lily smiled brightly as she looked behind her and back infront. "Good girl good girl," she whispered to Fearless. The camera flashed. The race was over. Lily had won. Fearless had done it. "Wow! We are bringing back secretariats race appearently! Hahah. Lily riding Fearless has won the race with 10 strides between her and challenge. Challenge places 2nd. Wonder places 3rd. Long shot places 4th. Thank you for the race day. You all dismissed. Races over." Lily went to winner circle and took TONS of photos. Fearless learned to smile. She smilled during thr picture.
Lily's thoughts
Today was a great day. Fearless sure suprised me with that horsey smile at the winner's circle. She has such a character.
