Third person point of view.
Lily clipped the green leadrope on to poe's blue halter. The big stallion followed Lily out of the stalls, new shavings were put in all stalls and the barn was fixed up. Tom decided to paint the outside of the barn instead of black, it is now the color of hope, gold. As the two reached the arena, Tom met them.
Tom: "Looking good today."
Lily: "what me or Poe? Nah"
Tom: "both, I can't wait to see you work it out again."
Lily giggles and Tom followed.
All legs stopped at the gate. Tom opened it for Lily and Poe. Poe followed lily as she took a step inside. Tom quickly closed it behind her. Tom being Tom, he jumped onto the fence and sat there. Appearing as if he doesn't want to stand. Lily sees him do it as he does it, and a giggle comes over her.
Tom: "Who are you laughing at!?"
Lily: "no one..."
Tom: "yea...sure"
Silence broke out and poe's legs pranced across the ring. He had a lunge line on him and was moving swiftly.
*4 MONTHS LATER*
All of the horses were trained. Lily had become fond of 2 of the horses. One was the black mare, who ended up not being a mare but a filly. She also liked Poe but she wanted to just have one. She named the black filly, Fearless. She was named after having a strong heart and she kept fighting. Fearless was only 2 and she was already halter trained and saddle broke. She stood still. She loads trailers. She is Lily's dream horse. Tom found her papers and found out that in her pedigree she had secretariat. She was amazed that this young filly, who is about to be 3, has secretariat in her blood. Who wouldnt be. A long shot horse, who was shunned, actually had a good bloodline! Wow. Just wow! Lily has her show name as Fearless, but she needed a barn name...but for now Fearless would have to do.
