Joshua's POV:

I wake up on a Monday morning.

Today is my beautiful, little girl Morgan's first day of school.

I'm a single dad, but it doesn't bother me.

Morgan's mom was an alcoholic, she threatened to beat her some times, so we got a divorce.

I am very happy with my life right now.

Today, Morgan is starting 1st grade!

I feel like she is growing up fast.

I walk out of my bedroom and walk across our small, but cozy house.

Morgan and I are in a pretty good state, money wise.

I work at a bank and manage people's money.

Pretty boring, but I like it.

Once I reach Morgan's rooms slowly open the door.

"Morgan. Princess first day of school." I said softly.

Her blue eyes fluttered open and looked around.

"One more hour of sleep please!" She said in her little kid voice.

She honestly had the cutest voice ever.

"No Morgan, you have to get up! Then all of your friends won't get to see your new pretty dress that grandma got you." I said.

She sat up.

I got her dressed and she felt a little more awake.

Shopping was a little hard, speaking in not a girl, but my mom and sister help me pick out clothes for her.

Morgan questioned sometimes why she didn't have a mom.

She knew all of her friends had moms and wondered why she didn't have one.

She felt left out sometimes and I hate to see her like that.

After I got her dressed I was going to make her breakfast.

"I'm going to go make you breakfast. Let's see how fast you can brush your teeth and hair! I'll time you." I said.

"Ok! I'm ready I'm the fastest girl ever." She said getting ready to started.

"Ok go!" I said.

This was my way of getting her to do things.

By "timing" her.

She seems to enjoy it so it works pretty well.

I walk out into our kitchen and make some pancakes for Morgan and I.

I'm pretty healthy with Morgan.

I don't let her have too much junk food.

Morgan isn't spoiled, at all.

She gets things here and there but I didn't want to make her spoiled little kid who gets everything she wants.

She runs out of the bathroom with her hair actually looking great.

"Did you brush your teeth?" I asked.

"Yes! I used the potty and washed my hands too." She said.

"Good job! It only took you 6 minutes!" I said.

She slouched down in the kitchen chair.

"I could do better!" She said.

"You did great. Now eat your pancakes." I said kissing her head.

She gobbled down her food as I got her backpack ready.

She seemed more excited now.

Morgan was a little ball of energy but when she is tried, she gets grumpy.

I think it's really cute.

I think everything she does is cute.

She is my little princess.

My favorite person in the whole entire world.

I couldn't have asked for a better daughter.

I grab my keys and her backpack as she carry' her lunch box.

"Daddy can I sit in the front seat?" She asked.

"Front seat!? No! You can in about 6 years." I said.

"I wish I could be a big kid." She said.

"You are big kid! You are the biggest kid I know." I said to her.

"Bigger than you?" She asked innocently.

"Way bigger than me." I said.

She smiled and started running to the car.

"Last one to the car is a rotten egg!" She yelled.

I ran to car as she laughed because of how far behind her I was.

"Beat you again!" She said smiling.

"I will never be able to beat the Marvelous Morgan!" I said tickling her.

I heard her laugh which is the cutest thing ever.

I got her in the car and drove off to her first day of school.

I am so happy with my life.
