Chapter Four
Unicorns. That's what I've been thinking of the whole period to steer my thoughts from Zac's beautiful green-as-a-fresh-grass eyes and big cute toothy smile. I even tried to draw a unicorn but that was just to avoid watching animals fuck each other.
Like, what the hell got into Mr. Perry's mind that he brought this cd for us? Doesn't he know about the whole hormones thing we, the teenagers, need to deal with? I mean, the whole class started making out and touching the partner next to them. Okay, maybe not the whole class. Barely four. But still.
I know Mr. Perry is 70 years old and that he forgot how it feels to be a teenager with crazy hormones but that's still not an excuse.
Okay, it is.
Dammit, I got nothing left.
"Hey." I hear a voice say, snapping me out of my confused thinking zone. I slowly look up to see Zac's green eyes staring at me. I gulp once in nervousness and sit up straight. "Hi." My voice cracks.
Sigh.
"I didn't catch your name, you know." He titters. "U-uhm." I stutter as I gather my stuff and stand up. "I-it's Sweatpants." Oh, dear lord, please don't tell me I just said sweatpants.
"Sweatpants?" He chuckles. Dammit. "Do your parents hate you or something?" He keeps chuckling as my face turns into a dark shade of pink.
"No, I meant, my name is Charlotte.." I mumble and briskly exit the class in attempt to avoid him but unfortunately, he catches up to me.
"I like your name." He says with a smile as we reach my locker. I only respond with a blush. "I'm Zac, by the wa--" "Yeah, I know." I cut him off. He just stares at me for awhile with a smile.
Why is he staring at me? Do I have something on my face? I bet I have lettuce between my teeth.. But I didn't eat today... Oh my god, please don't tell me it's a bee, kick it off, kick it off!!
"What are you doing??" Zac laughs out loud as I hit my face with my hands.
Omg, I'm such an idiot.
"Uhm...." Quick, think of an answer! "Dancing?" I murmur with a question mark face.
Really, Charlotte? You call hitting your face dancing?
Luckily, Zac just laughs. "I'd really like to see the rest of that... Dance." He says the word 'dance' louder than the others with a smirk before turning to the other way. "I'll catch up with you later, Charlie!" He chuckles before he disappears behind the corner.
Did he just call me Charlie? Oh. My. God. I have breathing difficulties, holy shit. I can't even.
What is it with me and fangirling today? I've never done this before.
Oh, well. Who cares? I LOVE THIS SHIT!
I bounce up and down a little until I hear someone cleaning its throat. I spin around to find Justin standing there with an annoyed expression.
Anger immediately takes over my excitement.
"What?" I say stiffly. "Who was that?" He asks. "Is he your boyfriend?" I can't help but laugh. I mean, who the hell would date me?? You need to be insane to do that or even think that!
I find myself gripping Justin's shoulder for support so I won't fall on the floor and quickly let it go whilst trying to relax myself.
"No, he's a new student." I say when I've finally calmed down and close my locker before making my way towards the restroom. "Do you like him?" Justin all of sudden asks, following me there.
