My Facebook pinged with a new message -
Delphina Kim: I'm literally so excited about tomorrow!
I smiled and quickly replied to Delphi who is, without any doubt, my best friend.
Sephora Tyler: I know...We finally get to meet!(;
Okay so, we've technically never met face-to-face before, but I'm positive Delphi is legit. She has to be because, after tomorrow, we're going to be living together...in a new country.
Maybe I should go back a bit!
I met Delphina about a year ago on a One Direction Facebook fanpage...we were both Admins and quickly became fast friends. The good new is, we both live in the USA! The bad news is - we live on opposite sides of the country.
Delphi is 22 and a model, who was recently offered an epic long-term work contract in London. I, on the other hand, am a 26 year old radio DJ. After years of working in crap radio stations, I FINALLY landed my dream job at BBC Radio 1 in -you guessed it- London.
So about two months ago we took a massive leap of faith and put down a deposit on a flat in London for us to share.
It all happened so fast, and I'm a little bit nervous about not having met Delphi in real life yet but, honestly, I need to get out of here. I love America, but I have to follow my dream, no matter what...and it doesn't hurt that I'm massively in love with England too!
Delphina Kim: Ugh I need to go sleep, and you do too! Long flight tomorrow!
Sephora Tyler: Chugging down extra-strength sleepy-time tea as we speak girl.
Delphina Kim: Lol good idea! Well goodnight Seph! Meet you in London?
