The one who got away

Mark's POV:

I see her.

She's in his arms.

He's holding her close as they dance. It should be me.

She's happy laughing smiling.

While I'm here dying inside.

She doesn't call no more.

She doesn't text me.

She moved on......I wished i could go back to that day and grab her and tell her everything.

How much I loved her.

How much I needed her.

How I wanted to spend forever with her....Now I'm nothing just a memory in her mind.

She will forever be part of me.

I can't let t go.

She was the ONE You know what I mean the one who you'd marry the one who you'd cry to snuggle up to fight with cause they drive you insane but you wouldn't change them. But I was stupid....She could never come back to me now she has him...my best friend....I should have known it. He used to crush on her all the time he was jealous of me and Y/n.

Now's she's just memory on the wall.

She's a scar left on my heart that can never be covered.

She's the girl that drives me insane.

She's what made my heart beat.

I will forever her want her back.

If one day came that she needed a shoulder to cry on. I would offer mine. Just to feel her near me.....Just to have her around......

Every night is the same go home go to bed get up record and repeat. One day though it changed.....

My phone buzzed it was an unknown number i answered.

She had been admitted to hospital.....She wasn't going to hang on...

I drove as fast as i could to get to her.

I ran though hall after hall till i got to her. She was pale and she wasn't moving she had so many different thing's coming off of her i couldn't count....we both knew this day was coming.

She had cancer of the lung.....I sat by her side and took her hand in mine as i looked up into her eyes.

She smiled her beautiful smile before saying.

"Your the one I wanted....Your the one I need.....I love you.....I wanted to spe-" She slowly faded away I begged and Begged for her to be brought back but it was to late.....she was gone. She was the one who got away maybe years from now I'll see her again and nothing will come between us again.......
