Ch.4 Chew Toy

I feel my heart speeding as i hear the male voice.

"Hello?" The stranger asks sounding bord and irritated.

"Yes, sorry may i speak to Mr.Neel, please?"hiding my nervousness from my voice.

"Victor isn't hete at the moment, do you want to leave a message?"

"Look i need to contact Victor or Gabriel emediatly,its very urgent!Seriously just give me the dam number already!" Loosing my cool, who does he think he is?

"I dont see how's that my proble, I cant  give you any personal informations phone number included, so why dont you just tell me what is wrong? Im in charge when Victor is away".

He seems to understand something is wrong as he sounds calmer and understanding.

"Want to know whats wrong?Fine! Im running away from a bunch of rogues who want to kill me beafore I reach Gabriel or Victor!!Satisfied?!" I half shout half yell.

"Whay do you think Gabriel will protect you from the rogues?"

I pause, should i tell him? He sounds as someone i could trust despite his lacking manners. Its not like I have any other choice,either I trust this guy or hide for the rest of my life from crazy dogs who want to make my a chew toy.Taking a deep breath I take the only option.

"Gabriel is my father".

I hear him taking a deep breath than nothing.Waiting one more minute still nothing.

"Hello? Are you here?"seriously what is wrong with him?

"Do you think this is funny?" He shouts angry making me cringe.

"Gabriel's daughter has been dead 11 years now! He roars glrowling.

"How dare you say you are his daughter!! Your lucky you aren't here or I would tear you to shreds!!"

I hear a click and call got disconected.
'Dammit it all'! I redial the number again waiting for someone to pick it up,I cant give up now when im so close.

"WHAT!!!" The stranger shouts again making me loose my patience.

" Look mister, I know its sounds crazy but im not lieing, I Need to contact my father emediatly ! By now they are searching for me and I can't do anything against 100 rogues. I need to reach my father beafore they reach me......do you understand now?" I say my eyes getting blurry.

As im waiting for his reply I hear some mufled sounds.What? This can't be possible? Is this scary stranger crying? Why?

After five minutes waiting, he finally reply.

"Is that really you princess?" His voice cracking and sobing.

"Yeah it's really me, im sorry I upseted you", I say wishpering feeling sad.

"No,no baby girl you didn't upset me! This is the best day of my life!!" What is with the mood swings? One minute he is angry shouting and next he is crying like a baby.

"Tell me where you are baby girl I will come and get you".

I can hear a door shouting, he is probably going for his car already. I could hear some howls in the back, are they all werewolves?

"Um, im in motel called David's around hundred miles from  Arcata". I say looking outside the window smilling brightly.

"We will be there in ten minutes" the stranger replies like he can't beleave this is real, awe clear in his voice.

"What do you mean we? How many are you bringing?" I ask curiosity getting the best of me.

"I told the pack , besides Victor .Around three hundred wolfs are coming. They went crazy to learn their Luna is alive! I need to get you to safety as soon as possible. I will see you in ten minutes baby girl,be safe till than!.

Beafore I could say anything he hangs up on me, seriously? What did he mean by Luna anyway? Guess I ll ask him later.

Grabing my things quickly I shove them in my bag trying to make myself presentable, not everyday you meet your family right?

My heart is beating really fast from happiness. Can't wait to meet my family! My dream finally coming true!

The idea of seeing three hundres wolfs seems a litle scary. I mean dont get me wrong I love wolfs, it just something I thought it was only on movies and dreams! I used to dream often of Victor, he would play with me on the forest, but I know he is an imaginary wolf from a drowing so it doesn't really matter, it still made me happy.

My thoughts were interupted when I hear a loud scream coming from below. Crap it sounded as someone was beeing slaughtered! It cant pissibly be them since only five minutes passed!. Dam it they found me!!.

Grabing my backpack and open the window. Looking down I see it is around four feet high. I jump down and I feel a pain on my ankle.Ank pain or chew toy I defenatly prefer the first!

Heading to the forest running for the hills, regretting not moving the car from the entrance.

As I kept running panting, I could hear growls not so far behind me. Dammit!

By now I was sweating like a pig trying to breath as the beasts won more ground against me.

'Please god dont let me die yet! Kept replaying in my head. Looking back now I could see four brown wolfs running at full speed three feet away from me!!

'One more minute, one more minute I can make it !!!!!'

"Ohhmp"I feel a sharp on my foot as I fall down, I grab quickly a rock from the ground I smash it to the wolf's face making it release my ankle whimpering and taking few steps away from me.

They are as big as a horse! I hold the rock tightly looking at the wolfs terrified. They were circling me and looking like I was the most felicious prey glowing viciously at me.

The biggest one taking slowly a step towards me baring it's teeth . Only five feet separating us , he seemed to enjoy seeing my terrified face. His tongue was out making it look smirking at me.

I feel tears run down my cheecks with eatch step it took towords me. This is it, this how im gonna die. Closing my eyes tightly not wanting my last seconds in earth to be looking at the wolfs face, I think of how it would feel huging my father and been in his safe embrace.
Feeling myself shake, I realise it isn't coming from me. 'Huh?'
Is the ground shaking? Maybe its an earthquake? Opening my eyes I see the wolves infront of me all stopped and looking at one certain direction taking few steps back, as the loud noises as if an army was on its way ,was getting closer and closer
