Ch.8 Going home

"I don't understand brother,what is a mate?"

"Do you know anything about werewolves Ellie?"

"I don't know anything,two days ago I didn't even know werewolves existed,let alone be real".

"It's okay little sister, I will tell you everything but first,we need to get home,you are propably freezing right now".

When we finally reach the main road I see a black SUV parked in the other side .

Opening the door for me he gives a hug beafore getting in. I say I simple 'thanks' not knowing what else to say. Not only I have a brother but he already treats me as if I was a china doll. Sure Mery would take care of me but I never had something like this beafore.

Making himself comfortable he starts the car.I couldn't stop looking at him,this would defenatly be on of the best days of my life if I erase the rogues.

Observing his face better now I see we have many similarities.He has  blond hair,it reminded me of the warm sand  in summer.

He looked very manly,I guess other people would describe him as intimidating or scary,despite his handsome face.Lets say would never want to see this giant next to me get mad.

Wait,if my brother is handsome and we much so much alike,does this makes me pretty?

A chuckle disturbs my thoughts and I look up at my brother who has an amused expression on his face.

"I said that out loud didn't I?" My face now was propably as red as a tomatoe,thank god it's dark in the car.

"So tell me Elli what happened, where were you all this years?"

"I was found in the woods when I was 6 with blooded clothes by the woman who raised me.The police said it was an animal atack and after staying 4 months in a place with other kids ,I got adopted by the woman I thought was my savior".

"What do you mean you thought she was your savior?" Confusion clear in his voice.

"On my 17th birthday,I went to her closet to find my favorite shirt.Thats when I discovered some letters from a man.I got curious because she never brought anyone home or even dated,so you know I found it wierd".

Taking a deep breath I continue.

"In the letters the man named George was telling her about a plan".

"What plan Elli?" Kaiden asks angrily.He stops the car waiting for my reply. His eyes were black now and he was breathing very hard.

"You better read it yourself".Grabing the letter from my pocket I hand it to him.

When he is done reading the letter I thpught he would explode.No one told me brothers were so scary.

Getting out of the car Kaiden tries to control his breathing,by now he sounded more like an animal than a human.

He sees im getting worried about him he calms down ,with a sad smile.

"Fucking Mery Feling!!!" He says in a low growl punching a nearby tree making it almost fall down.

Going close to him I could see blood in his hand.

"Brother please stop you are hurting yourself" Feeling my eyes blury with tears. I never want to see him so sad and defeated again.Finally looking at me his cheeks wet from angry tears.

"You dont understand Ellie,that woman is our dad's cusin!! She even cried at your funeral!!She was family for gods sake!!!!"

"W..what you mean"? I stutter.

He takes a deep breath and sits down in the grass patting the spot next to him.Sitting down he places my hands in his.

"It all started when rogues atacked the pack and killed Mery's and George's parents.Having no one else grandma took them in and raised them as her own.As they grew up Mery started having feelings for dad even tho he tild her many times he was waiting for the one and only.After few years dad met mim and he knew she was it.Heartbroken Mery leaves the pack with her brother not wanting to see the man she loved getting married to another woman.As the years passed they would visit once in a while and they seemed to be okay with everything".

Wiping my tears away I give him a light squeeze.

"So many lives ruined for revenge than brother? He nods at me with a saf smile.

Staying there in each other embrace I feel myself getting tired. Leaning my head in his chest I could feel myself slowly drifting away,not beafore I heard his soothing words.

"Sleep angel i got you now,you are safe. Tomorrow is going to be a new day. Whatever comes our way we will deal with it together."

With a smile on my lips I welcome the darkness.
