As we walk through the woods in silence just holding each other hands was enough. This felt so unbelievable! Holding his hand tight not wanting to ever let it go I smile sheepishly. I have a brother! How cool is that ?!!
He notices me and gives me an amused look,
"What's with the creepy smile?" Trying to hold his chuckles.
I feel my cheeks burn with embarrassment as I try to explain how I feel which i always found hard to do.
"Im just thinking how blessed I am", I continue finding my courage.
"I mean , I always wanted a sibling. When I was 8 after school waiting for my mom to pick me up, there was a litle girl my age and she fell down crying non stop but as soon as her brother picked her up she was smiling,crying forgotten.I envied them, wanting to know what it felt like and now your here and i ......, i still can't bealive it.My life turned upside down in two days and I didn't had time to let everything sink in".
I look at him and he stops walking looking very serious and sad all together.
"I know what you mean Ellie,the day you were born I vowed to always protect you, i...... I'm sorry I let you down", tears were running down his face.
"Im sorry i didn't protect you",he pauses a minute trying to catch his breathing.
Wiping his tears away I bring him to my eye level,
"None of this was your fault okay? I don't want to hear you say this again", smilling at him he nods.
"Besides we have the rest of our lives to make it up for the lost time right?" I nudge his side.
"Yup", he seems to calm down a litle as we continue learning about each othet.
"So tell me about yourself, I want to know everything" I ask him
"My name is Kaiden Green. Im 29 years old and Beta of the strongest pack in the world" he says proudly,
"I found my mate Lisa seven years ago and we have a five years old daughter.She..... she saved me Ellie.For years I hated myself, I just couldn't handle the pain I felt you know? Lisa taught me how to forgive myself. Im glad I have her as a mate"
His eyes would shine brighter talking about her.
"Im glad she is taking care of you", I squeeze his fingers.
"By the way what do you mean when you say she is your mat...." , I pause suddenly his words sinking in.
"W-when you say daughter you mean im an auntie?"my voice cracking.
He nods smiling brightly..I stop frozen in spot.He looks at with worried eyes as I take a deep breath and than let out a very loud scream that could wake the dead.
"I AM AN AUNTIE!!!WOHOOO! I do my happy dance and look at my brother who is laughing at me. I grab his hand and drag him walking faster.
"Let's go I can't wait to meet her!", making him chuckle.
"You will meet her but we have more important matters Ellie"
"Whats wrong?"I ask him confused
"Im afraid of dad's and Victors reactions Ellie"
"What you mean brother?"
He sigh ,
Dad and Victor are in Italy visiting an allie pack. I can't just call them and say hi dad and victor Ellie is alive and home.Dad will die of heartatack and Victor will go on a rampage!Fuck.".
"I know we must handle this situation carefully,its not something you can say over the phone.I mean I don't want to loose my dad beafore finding yet.I get your worried about dad but who is Victor Neel?", I say confusion clear in my voice.
"How much do you remember Elli?" My brother asked me.
"All I know is that when I was 6 I was into the woods with blooded clothes with no memories beafore that"., a sad look crosses his face.
"The only thing I had with me was this" I say pulling the drowing from my jacket pocket and show it to him.
" I named the wolf Victor when I was 6 years old. This black wolf in here has been my best friend so far. Everytime I'm sad I would talk to him, it always made me feel better". I say smiling to my brother. I didn't realise he had stopped looking frozen in place two feet away from me.
"What's wrong?" I say getting really worried.
"Ellie,that wolf is Victor" he says as if he couldn't bealive it.
"I know he is Victor silly, I named him after all", I chuckle at him
"No,no Ellie you don't understand. That wolf in the drowing is the Victor im talking about"
Realising what he is trying to say I look at my brother with blury eyes.
"Y-y-ou mean this wolf here " I point at the drawing, " is Victor as in Victor Neel?" I wishper
"Yes,thats him Ellie" he says smiling.
I can hear my heartbeat pounding in my ears.Too many thoughts run in my head.My brother noticing I was about to brake down, he hugs me tight wishpering soothing words.
"Its okay baby girl,everything will be okay just breath" i do as he says taking deep breaths trying to calm down. I look at him with determined eyes.
"What is Victor to me brother? feeling my heart speed faster and faster.
He looks at me as if he was about to say something and than decide against it.
"Look Ellie, you've been through a lot,we can talk about this some other time. I can hear your heartbeat,is very fast now and that isn't good. We have all the time we want to talk about everything just not now".
I know he is just worried about me but I couldn't stop from wanting to know.
"I can handle it brother,please tell me who Victor is to me?" I look at him with pleading eyes waiting for his response.
Waiting few moments he finally replies.
"Victor is your mate Ellie"
