Minho POV

I walked away from the medjack hut and into the Gathering Hall. What did that little girl do to deserve this? No body was smart enough to even tell her the buggin' rules! That girl is NOT guilty. I told myself. We sat down and discussed why we were here. Then Jeff, the keeper of the medjacks brought in Ally and sat her down in the middle. It broke my heart to see the fear in her beautiful hazel eyes. It reminded me of a memory when we were young, put I couldn't quite remember. I looked at Ally, she was staring blankly at everyone with pure fear. She didn't know what she did wrong. I wasn't in trouble for going in the maze because I was a runner. But Ally didn't know that NON runners couldn't go in the bugging maze.  "Keepers, slintheads, shanks. We gather here today to discuss Ally's front with the maze. She broke our number one rule-" I quickly interrupted Alby. "Which was not yet explained to Ally, and whose fault exactly is that?" I asked. Alby shot me a nasty glare. "Now, Minho, what do you think we should do?"

Ally POV

I kept my head buried in my hands as people shot toward Alby's way awful punishments. "In the slammer for a week!" "One week with only warr and bread!" "Work with the sloppers for a week!" Etc. I didn't know why I was being punished. One moment I was in the gritty bed, next I was being taken to a place to discuss 'my punishment for my actions'.

They ended up deciding I should sleep in the slammer for two nights. I didn't like the sound of that. Minho came up to me after. "Are you ok?" He asked me. I nodded. I was trying very hard not to cry. And I mean very hard. Minho pulled me into a hug. "Your gonna be ok." He said. I nodded. It was getting late, so he took me to dinner. "Hey, Ally." Frypan said. "Hi." I said under my breath. "What's with you guys, you seemed like y'all known each other bloody forever." Frypan said. I raised my eyebrows and looked at Minho. I looked at frypan and mumbled, "That's because we have." Frypan almost fell on his sandwich. "Wh-at?!" He stammered. "We're, um. How do I say this?" Minho said as he looked over at me. "We're, brother and sister." I mumbled as my hair flew in front of my face. Frypan almost choked on his milk. "Wha-wha-huh?" I shrugged. And after dinner Alby walked over to me. "Come on greenie, sundown." I turned and looked at Minho, he handed me my elephant and gave me a hug. Then Alby pulled me into the pit.

Time Skip

The most of the night I slumped in the corner crying with my face buried in my hands.
