I woke up with a throbbing headache, I looked up at the early morning sky. I was in Minho's trembling arms, he was walking through the corridors in the maze. He smiled when he realized I was awake. "Hey sal." He said. I just remembered that's the nickname he gave me when I was little. I smiled. "You remember?" I asked. "Ever since you yelled at me unconscious, I had a few dreams from when we were little, I am sorry your small little mind of yours had to go through The Changing." I nodded after he said that, my body hurt so much I thought I would explode. He carried me in the glade. Newt raced up with a worried look on his face. "Minho! Ally! You made it!" He soon got the attention of the other gladers. They started yelling and cheering and clapping. "Woohoo!" They yelled. "Ya!" Yelled one named Chuck. I had started to befriend the 11 year old. And he seemed happy I was ok. "Come on sal." Minho said. I nodded, he had set me down when we walked in the glade. But he picked me back up, cradling me back into his arms." She was stung, she seems fine, but let's hurry before matters are worse." That terrified me, I held the elephant against my body like it was my life and soul. "What would happen if we gave her the grief serum?" Newt asked. "I really don't know, but we shouldn't risk not, anyone so far without the grief serum has died, let's just get her in the stinkin' homestead." My big brother said. "Were you stung?" Newt asked. "No, I was only knocked out for a minute or two, and if I was I would go sprawling awake, so I'm good, she has experienced one stage of the changing, already, so the sting is acting fast, so let's hurry this up." Minho demanded to Newt. They started taking me to the building they called the 'Homestead', which awaited who knows what, and I'm guessing pain lies behind the door, they walked me there as my elephant was cradled in my arms, while I was still lying in Minho's arms.
