New chapter for all you reading this book, which I grant is not many, but what can you do? Anyway, enjoy.

He thought about his options and huffed another breath when he realized that it would take more time to argue and less time to just let the girl say whatever she wants to say.

He said grudgingly, "Okay, let's get out of this rain and as you want, talk."

"Yay!" Her voice instantly went into a squeal of excited glee. As they walked the small distance that they made while Lucifer was trying to leave the girl, the girl in question was thinking that she really wanted to help him because she saw that his eyes and they held confusion and bafflement that usually came from trying to decipher what people are thinking and acting, she also saw scars, from what she didn't know but she knew that it was big, because she saw that his scars ran deep, deeper than he even noticed, so deep that he didn't know that they were there.

When they arrived at the tree and sat down near the bark, he looked at her not knowing what to say and unwilling to talk first.

"Well talk," She demanded.

"I? I have to talk? You wanted to come here and talk so you talk," He says indignantly, proud of himself of thinking of a good comeback so quickly and avoiding saying something important or of any value.

"I believe I will," saying that the girl didn't continue with anything else after that statement  and Lucifer got uncomfortable with the silence that followed.

One, two, one, two, one, two, one.........two..........one..........two..........one........two. He counted in his head with the breath in and breath out that he took. After doing this for a while, he grew more and more frustrated and he looked out from under the branches of the tree and saw that it was still raining, he blew up.

"You just said that you are going to talk! You said that you wanted to talk, so why aren't you saying anything! What is the matter with you?!" As the last word dried on his tongue, he felt a shift in his demeanor, and he screamed in pain as something tore through the muscles in his heart and chest cavity, he screamed again as he held his hands over his heart and squeezed, he thrashed and fell to the floor making the most animistic sound as he screamed in total agony.

"Let it happen, just let it happen," The girl whispered in his ear with tears in her eyes as she held him so strongly that his bones protested, however he did not feel that, he only felt the pain, the all consuming pain from his heart.

"I'm sorry, this had to happen to you," She continued to whisper to him, "I'm sorry," with that a lone tear streaked down her perfect face showing the pain that she experienced while holding Lucifer close.

Is your interest peeked? Well, good, so am I so continue reading if you want to know what happens next. This chapter is shorter than the first two, sorry about that but i wanted to leave a cliffhanger. :)
