Falling For You

Ash laid his hands behind Miette's head to protect her from hurting her head as they fell down a flight of stairs outside the showcase hall.

They both fell at a fast pace. Serena stared at them, shocked with worry and anger.

Finally the two came to the end on the stairs, Ash landed flat on his back against the hard cement ground. Miette landed on top of him.

"ASH!?!" Serena yelled as she ran down the stairs to Ash and Miette.

"Are you two alright?" Serena asked.

Miette, who had landed on top of Ash, had her lips on Ash's. Both Ash and Miette were blushing madly as Miette pulled away from their kiss.

"..…" Miette's face was a flustered mess as she stared at Ash.

"Miette…I-I…." Ash managed to stutter out. He didn't know what to say. His mind was blank with confusion and shock.

"How dare you kiss Ash like that?!" Serena shouted, gaining the attention of everyone.

Miette bit her bottom lip as Bonnie, Serena, and Shuanna stared at her in spite.

"I-I'm....s-sorry…" Miette mumbled out.

"Miette…" Ash said. He reached a hand up to Miette, who was still on top of him.

"I'm so very sorry!" Miette said as she got up and ran away from Ash and everyone.

Ash quickly sat up when Miette ran away. "Miette! Wait!" he yelled rather loudly, but she didn't stop running.

'What in the wirld just happened?' Ash thought to himself. He got up as Serena leaned down to check for any injuries.

"Serena, do you know what just happened? Why were you all looking at her angrily?" Ash asked.

"I'm sorry. Did I scare you?" Serena asked with a giggle.

"No, I was just…surprised to see you standing there. But why were you all staring at her angrily?" Ash asked again.

Bonnie, Clemont, Shuanna, and Nini came running down the stairs while Serena tried to think of an excuse as to why they were angry at Miette.

"We were just worried is all." Serena said with a wink.

"Did she hurt you?" Shuanna asked.

"She didn't hurt me at all…" Ash replied. He was still confused though.

"Don't worry, Ash! Well make sure she doesn't make you fall again." Bonnie said.

'What does she even mean?' Ash thought.

"Guy's, Miette didn't make me fall on purpose, we just tripped." Ash said.

"It didn't look like just a tripping accident to me." Nini said. "Maybe there was something more to it. I think she likes you.

Ash looked at Nini, as well did Serena.

"I do not think that was the case Nini." Serena said with a bit of irritability.

Shuanna glanced to Serena and nodded slightly.

"Well it's over now, so why don't we head to a pokemon center?" Clemont said.

Serena looked at Ash with happiness. "Since I'm the new Kalos Queen, I can get you any kind of food you'd like." she said, giving uet another wink.

"Alright. That sounds good." Ash said with a smile. He suddenly got his serious look. "I wonder how Miette tripped like that. She was standing perfectly still.…" he said.
