Only Real Monsters Bow to You

The scent of rotting copper and sulfur filled the midnight air. Trees swayed idly by as the wind seemed to try and viciously attack the girl. Her hair blew in the wind, stinging and whipping at her face as blood seemed to coat her mouth and hands. It wasn't very much of a surprise, the world was always against her one way or another.

Below her feet and only a few feet away were the girl's victims. Blood pooling on the ground as the crimson liquid seemed to stain everything around. Leaves, bark, earth, grass and even the clothes, skin, and face of each mortal and herself. It was a mess, rather large and quite the scene but it would be fixed soon. She had the police do such a thing for her.

Shakily, though very sturdy, the girl seemed to be a bit unbalanced. Swaying with the breeze as she clumsily tried to stay upright. Her hand held tightly onto the object lodged into her side, pulling the blade marked with a cross and Latin incantations she could barely understand out from her torso. A grimace spread on her lips but she held in her pain, surely it would heal soon.

Glancing over to the pile of bodies, seemingly massacred and roughly piled in a certain spot afterwards, she watched diligently as white gaseous looking forms seemed to leave them. They floated just above the pile as they waited for judgement, a few twisting and flickering impatiently while the others seemed to bounce in joy. They all knew already where they would go, but it wasn't their right to leave without grace.

She hobbled her way over, clutching tightly onto the bloody wound as she raised a few into the air. The orbs shining a bright golden light as they ascended to heaven. Two were left, both twisting and jumping and desperately trying to ascend but they couldn't themselves. They weren't pure enough. She grabbed onto one, her mouth widening as flames flickered and licked from her precious lips. Once her mouth was open, it revealed bright blue flames that seemed to swirl inside her. Her teeth were long and sharp like a wolf and it was obvious where they were heading.

Swallowing the rotten soul whole, she listened as the orb only seemed to fizzle and pop inside her. Even if she couldn't see it, the orb was turning pure black before the noises ceased and it disappeared. Plucking the other from its spot, she was about to pop that one into her mouth as well before a sword was at her throat. Closing her mouth, she peered up at the assailant with a piercing glare. A hiss escaped her lips as the blue flames licked her from their prison and smoke bellowed from her nostrils.

A male, obviously in high school, stood before her. Blue flames protruded from his head like horns over his messy jet black hair that held a dark blue tint. His bright sapphire eyes that had red slits for the pupil seemed to glare at her with as much or even more ferocity. A scowl was on his face, his long pointed ears making the emotion look more so. Fire basically covered his body, the blue flames engulfing him. A black tail seemed to be frozen behind the male, not moving nor bothering to show any emotion as of now.

There was another man behind him. This male had on glasses and seemed to look a bit similar, though a few moles dotted his face and he seemed a bit nerdier then the other. Possibly studious and very high academic skill. His hair was black as well and his teal eyes seemed murky. His facial expression looked as if he was disappointed at the other, facing the girl with a straight face.
She knew who these people were, it would be a disgrace if she did not.
