Prologue~

The railroad is an old legend. Not much people in Kalgoorlie, Australia believed it anymore, but no one wanted to find where it lead. When I was little I always asked my mother where it lead, she always told me the same words:
Where the railroad goes, nobody knows."

I always complained after she told me, but after awhile i stopped complaining and even asking. The reason is because a week after I asked my mom non-stop, a group of rambunctious teens went down the road and didn't come back.

Weeks later my father went, with a group of other men, to the eerie railroad. Haven't seen him since. That was when I was 6, I'm 17 now. My mother was the one who had gone through the the worst, but in the end I was always there for her as she was for me. She started having to work double shifts at her work. I babysat our neighbors kids for four dollars an hour when I was 12, when I turned 14 I worked a part time job at a flower shop. This continued for a long time.

One day my mother lost it, she wanted to find my father after eight years of him being presumed missing. I protested but she was set on the task. She dropped me off at my grandparents house and left. She never came back. But I will always remember the last thing she told me,

"Where the railroad goes, I will soon know."
