You were on your first mission with the X-Men, it was so exciting until you realize. You were going on a mission with the X-Men, what if you messed?
What if you jeopardize the mission because of your clumsiness?
Or worse, you make a fool of yourself in front of your crush logan aka Wolverine.
You looked at the mutant next to you that stood a good foot taller than you. You looked back down with a blush before you could make eye contact.
Jean came over to you noticing your nervousness "Hey you'll do fine. If anything goes wrong we all will be there to help or just remember everything we taught you. Okay?"
You nodded and said "thank you Jean, I really appreciate it".
Scott came over then putting an arm over Jean's shoulders "don't worry, your an X-men now."
You paused for a moment before grinning and nodding ex statically making them laugh at your childish enthusiasm.
Suddenly, it was time to land. Once the jet had landed the door opened leading to the ground.
Storm was the first to climb out and then Jean, Scott, and logan. You then went off and looked around 'wow...'!the place was huge. Bigger than the institution.
Scott then turned and explained the plan "...If we're spotted we need to get back here. We can't take all those mutants all at once. Magneto will be waiting for us but isn't expecting us now. So...here are the teams".
Logan looked a little confused "wait we are splitting up? How is that a good idea when there are more mutants than us in that damned city".
Scott glared at logan who glared back with the same vigor "As I was saying...the teams are Jean and I, storm we need you to patrol the sky's for now, and logan and (Y/N)." He continued "you got that everyone?"
Everyone nodded.
Then everyone sprinted off to different directions. You and logan ran with a fast pace, both of you being half animal helped a lot.
You glanced at logan every once in a while as you both ran, his face was so handsome and looked as if it was painted by the hand of god.
Logan however felt your gaze but didn't acknowledge but had a small smirk on his face with a slight blush. They finally arrived to their destination and looked around. There were four mutants guarding the outside of the city where magneto lay.
Long growled and got ready to jump down and kill them all but you put a hand on his chest stopping him "Wait...look".
You pointed to the ground to see a mutant walking across the doors with his hands out and a red light coming from his palms.
"We shouldn't be hasty. His mutation is almost like a guarding system. We touch it, he alerts everyone and the mission fails" you state as logan calms.
You then unsheathed your claws lengthening your nails and looked at logan "Can you handle it, big boy?" You teased with a smirk.
Logan looked a little shocked at your change of attitude but smirked that sexy as hell...Moving on!
You crouched and jumped over to the ground below landing softly behind the mutant guarding. Logan looked shocked and whistled lowly before bring out his own claws.
You covered the shocked mutants mouth before bringing your knee up and putting your foot down on his leg breaking it and muffling his screams.
He passed out in seconds and you heard logan jump behind you as you dropped the unconscious mutant.
You smiled innocently at him revealing canines and walking off towards the next entrance "close your mouth wolvie you'll catch flies" you teased with a swing of your hips.
'Damn' He thought before stepping on the mutant making him groan and following your figure.
Let's just say the mission was a complete success in more than one way.
