Star crossed lovers, why love?

Chapter one

The breeze from under Pipers back porch was cold but being beside Aspen made her warmer, inside and out. He always had his arm around her in a way that made her feel safe, she dreamed of one day hearing Aspens voice she knew that dream would never happen. She imagined waking up to the sound of his voice... It was simply a dream, nothing more, nothing less.

Every time piper and Aspen would sneak around with each other it would be under that very porch, Sebastien Aspens best friend would help them, he was Pipers neighbour and always had the most creative ways to sneak them around, under a bridge, in a really creepy underground tunnel, construction sites and so many more. But Aspen and Pipers favourite always came back to under Pipers Porch. Since piper was deaf Aspen always had to face Piper when they talked, which was challenging because all he wanted to do was kiss her, but she couldn't read his lips if they were on hers. That night under the porch was just like the others, wind blowing through their hair, cuddling ,chatting, and some kisses, piper and Aspen had never been further than occasional kisses, they had both made it clear they weren't ready for anything "more" that night, Aspen said to piper,

"Why can't we just live our love freely Per, I want to feel others stares as they see us holding hands while walking down the street."

" you know the one reason, your father if only I was hearing, we could be together, and I'd hear your voice when you say I love you."

"Oh per I never wished  you were hearing or you would hear me do this,"

Aspen laced his fingers in pipers and placed kisses all the way up Piper neck, it always brang chills down her spine, but it felt lovely, just that touch felt like she could hear Aspen saying "love you" in that simple moment. Piper taped on Aspens shoulder, it was 9:30 and Aspens curfew was 10:00 so it was time for the dreaded good bye for the night.

"I love you per, you'll always be mine."Aspen said softly.

"Oh Aspen how could I not love you, you have my heart."

"Someday we'll run away together, get married and our love will be free."

"I can't wait for that moment to come, we'll be together, but for now it's time to go I'll see you at school tomorrow."

"But tomorrow, I won't be able to kiss you, I want to kiss you every second of every day but, I can't."

" then, why don't we meet somewhere secret, ask Sebastien while he's dropping you home."

"Of course, everything for you my love, good night."

"Good night , owner of my heart."

To that Aspen jumped over the gate, to go over to Sebastiens window, but as he went over he turned to face Piper and mouthed the words "I love you" their night together always ended that way. Piper went inside, and laid her head on her pillow all night until she finally fell asleep. It was all just an amazing dream, the only thing that made it a nightmare was the fact that, there love was not alowed or "forbidden" kinda like Romeo and Juliet, but hopefully no one would die on this love story.
They are what you call star crossed lovers.
