Starting at a new school was always a challenge for  me.  I was expelled from three schools as a kid so I never really had many real friends.  I skipped most days and never got told off when I arrived back.  It seems like a being free and having a good life, but it wasn't.  I was lonely, depressed and felt like I had no purpose.  And I was only starting to realise that now.

The second day in classes was great, surprisingly.  Jordan helped me catch up on work they'd done in Science and English, and the classes he wasn't in Jesse was.  He was another of my already found great mates.

The work was a bore but the teachers taught it in upbeat ways, any sign of you drifting off and they'd embarrass you infront of the class by smacking your ass or pulling your ear.  It was a great laugh and no one minded the pain.

Julian, Jesse, Hugo, Tom, Jordan and I hanged out all day and were planning to catch up for the football match tonight.  I hated Julian.  He never spoke but I'd always catch him looking at me or laughing at my lack of knowledge in class.  He is tall and has muscly arms, brown hair and a freckly face.  He gave me evil looks and ignored me when I talked.  I felt like he wanted me to go away, but the boys accepted him so all I could do was agree.  I was thinking about asking Malia to come but thought I'd be spoiling the dudes night.

We got together after the gym sesh and everyone crowded around the TV.  The round was thrilling and we got told off twice for making to much noise, then I realised only two days in and I was changed.  Or maybe still changing.

"Lets play truth or dare!"  Hugo shouted.  He had dark skin and black hair that was slicked to the side over his brown eyes.  He was short but could defend himself after all the karate classes he's taken.

We all yell in agreement.  I've only ever played truth or dare once in grade two, then it was just stupid stuff like 'lick the floor' and 'did you watch my little pony?'  Now I was hoping for some entertaining action.

We sat in a circle and Jesse started off the round.  His blue eyes looked mischievious and his blond hair stuck up like it was excited.

"Hmmmm Tom!  Truth or dare?" he asked Tom.

Tom thought about it for a minute. "Dare!" he announced bravely.  Tom was a medium sized lad with greasy dark hair that want to his shoulders and a nose piercing that made him appear frightening.  He was always funny and never let anyone talk shit about his mates.

Jesse looked like he'd been waiting for this.  He pulled a bottle of something from his jacket pocket.

"I nicked this from the kitchen.  You've gotta swallow one teaspoon." he grinned.

I looked at the lable: Nandos Peri Peri Hot Hot Hot sauce.  I've had that stuff before.  Just a small drop and it feels like your throats on fire.

"No way!" Tom moaned.

He looked terrified.

"Do it! Do it!" we all chanted.  "C'mon can't go out on the first round!"

I think the only reason that spoon entered his mouth was because he would look like a pussy if he didn't do it.

Seconds later his eyes started watering and his face went bright red.  After ten minutes it was clear he wasn't ok so Julian took him down to sick bay while we continued the game.

"My turn!" Jordan announced, trying to ease the tension.

"Ok, Jai!" I felt nervous at the thought of Tom's outcome.

"Truth or dare?" he smiled.

"Ummmm..." I didn't want dare after I saw the extremes they got to so I took the safe route, "Truth."

Everyones face fell at the thought of a boring truth but Jordan tried to hide his dissapointment since I was so emotionally unstable and he knew me being called sissy wasn't the best idea.

"Ok lets see.." he said thinking hard. "Who do you have your eye on?" he smiled with pride at his great truth.

"What?" I said confused.

"What girl gets you tingling dumb nuts?" he huffed impatiently.

"Umm.. Malia." I said before I knew it.  Shit I would give anything to take that back right now.  This was the most personal thing I had with me and I just shared it in a fucking game of spin the bottle!?  I would do anything to have a working brain!

All there eyes widened at the same time and I could feel my cheeks going red.

"You can't like Malia!" Tom said in a low but fierce voice.

"Why not?" I asked defensivly.  I know it's big for stupid baby brains, but they've gotta understand, where I come from, liking someone means you sleep with them the same night.

"Because she's Julian's girlfriend!" they said in unison.

Oh.  Now that's a different story...
