Chapter 2 - On the way

Kusakabe: You're pretty close with Homura-san, aren't you?
Haruta: Yup, we are childhood friends-- err she's the bully, I'm the victim
Kusakabe: Haha. Close friends fight a lot.
Haruta: I guess so. Well, she is my irreplaceable friend from elementary- in fact, my only friend back then.
Kusakabe: Were you lonely?
Haruta: Being with her was a living hell, but I have to say it wasn't lonely at all.
Haruta: Hey, sensei, you know, today is actually Chika-chan's birthday.
Kusakabe: Ah, is that so...
Haruta: Can we throw her a party?
Kusakabe: Sure. Let's enter the club room.
Maren: Kamijo!
Haruta: Hi guys, I have something to tell you. So, today is Chika's birthday and here's the plan: Serizawa will distract Chika-chan and buy us enough time to decorate the room. The cake is covered by my older sister, who happens to want to thank her for helping me find an apartment.
Keisuke: Minami-san is coming over?
Haruta: No, she'll just deliver the cake.
Keisuke: Damn.
Naoko: Where is Homura?
Haruta: She's on her way to the staff room. Slow her down.
Naoko: Got it.
Haruta: Go now, Serizawa.
Naoko: K.
Haruta: So for the rest, we .......

Chika: Gotta take this to Okafuka-sensei and go to the club~ gotta take this to Oka-- oof!
Naoko: Oww.. Homura-san!
Chika: Naoko!
Naoko: It's Serizawa.
Chika: Hehehe as shy as always, Nao-chan
Naoko: N-n-nao-chan?!
Chika: Ah~ your face is red. Because that's the name that Hiyama-kun calls you~right?
Naoko: N-n-never mind that, hmph. Here, let me help you pick up the notebooks. You're on duty for your class today?
Chika: Yup! If I were Haruta, I would've said "Obviously, since I'm here".
Naoko: Thinking of Kamijo eh?
Chika: Yeah, I just bumped into that jerk. He's nothing like sensei. ❤️ Speaking of which, why aren't you at the club room?
Naoko: Because I'm not in your club..?
Chika: Ah yeah, that's right, you hang out there a lot I actually thought you were....
Naoko: Just tell me, I'll stop coming to the club.
Chika: What? No! no! Keep coming! In fact, why don't you join the club?
Naoko: Hmm I've been thinking about it.. Do you think now's a good time?
Chika: Don't worry! I'll talk to the club president for you!

Chika: No time to waste! Gotta hand over these notebooks! *huff huff*
Naoko: Ahh you dummy, I said wait! *huff* ((ahh I have to slow her down))
Naoko: Chika-chan! Wait! Oww... ((falls on the floor))
Chika: Are you ok, Naoko?!
Naoko: ((Good, this is a nice way to slow her down))
Chika: Let's go to the infirmary and patch you up!

~~~Back to the clubroom~~~

Haruta: Ok, I think the club room is decorated enough.
Akari: Kamijo-senpai! Let's make everyone give a wish for Chika-senpai!
Kusakabe: Oh, good idea Gotou.
Akari: Hehehe thanks sensei. And Kamijo-senpai, you give the last words since you're her childhood friend!
Haruta: no... that's creepy.
Akari: EH?! WHY NOT?!
Keisuke: Stop bickering. She could be here any second. Just agree, Kamijo.
Miyoko: Homura-san did so much for us all... I think we should all give a message too.
Maren: That is true, Homura-san is probably the reason we joined the club.
Haruta: Guys aren't you forgetting me??? I was the one who solved almost everything!
Kaiyu: That goes without saying. You are a genius after all.
Haruta: Hiyama understands me! (TwT)
Maren: Ah, right, Kamijo was the one who helped me too.
Miyoko: Yeah.. But Homura-san is a friend so nonetheless, we should celebrate it. We had Serizawa go approach her to slow her down afterall.
Keisuke: Ah, I hear footsteps! I'll go outside to make fun of her before she comes in. You guys go get the last preparations done.
Everyone: On it!

Everyone's so loud, I can hear them from here, despite my bad hearing loss. It's a good thing that Chika is just a natural airhead.
