Chapter 2
Dan's POV
I watched the brunette sleep next to me. Bless her. It was her first Vid Con and she's so tired! It's like, I checked my watch, 12pm and she's still deep in sleep. I kissed her forehead and cuddled up to her. This is perfection. We've only been together 2 months and already we're so in love! Well I haven't told her yet.. but I am. I'm slightly worried about rejection, but when I'm with her I don't have to worry about anything like that.. I feel like she feels the same way, even though I know it's not possible. I don't think anyone's ever felt the way I feel about her... She seems so fragile! It hurts when we're not together.
I got disturbed from my thoughts by a stir from the lady lying next to me. She rubbed her eyes with her hands and slowly opened them.
"Morning!" I said cheerfully.
"Ugh, who turned the light on, " She groaned and I laughed at her.
"Jesus, " I said still smirking. Maria was definitely not a morning person.
"Hey, what did we agree on, no stupid 'Jesus' jokes in the morning, " She was trying to hide her smile, but she couldn't.
"Oh? Okay well we didn't agree on no tickling in the morning, did we? " I smirked and dived on her.
"Arghh! Dan, tickling is against the stupid law! Stop! " She screamed
"You just admitted the law is stupid though. I think we should be rebels for life and just ignore it, " I laughed at my terrible comeback.
"No, lets not, " She laughingly pushed me off of her and got up. She was still wearing her yesterday clothes, as I had to carry her into the motel. She fell asleep in the car, cute girl.
She walked over to her suitcase and looked inside.
"Wow. I've brought a lot of crap, " She laughed as she pulled out a pair of light blue skinny jeans and her white baggy bleached T-shirt that we made together.
"What about me?" I said, afraid that I was going to have to look through my suitcase. Today, I honestly couldn't be bothered.,
"You're a big boy, I'm sure you can handle it, " She winked, blew me a kiss and went inside the bathroom to change.
"What is the point in having a girlfriend if she isn't even going to help you get dressed, " I muttered, loud enough for Maria to hear. I heard her giggle in the bathroom and satisfied I got up.
About 20 minutes later she came out fully dressed, make-uped and ready to go.
"What the hell do you do in there?" I cried, running to the bathroom to relieve myself.
I heard her laugh at me, "When you stop pretending you're a boy, you will understand. "
"Wow, hurtful much? " I replied behind the closed door.
"Good," She laughed.
After washing my hands, I stepped out of the bathroom to see her sitting on the bed a magazine in her hands, her white converse on.
"You done?" She giggled at me.
"No, not really, " I said and again attacked her with tickling.
She squealed and I laughed. But suddenly we stopped and just looked at each other. Her green eyes sparkling at me and I leaned down.
After about a 10 minute kissing session. We stood up and she excused her self to sort her hair out and we went downstairs.
As we walked out we noticed Amber and Finn flirting by her door.
"Oooh get on it Finn!" I laughed winking at Amber. Amber blushed and looked embarrassed.
"Shut up Dan, " FInn turned completely red and just walked away from all of us. I turned around to Amber to say I'm sorry, but she's already closed the door. Something was definitely up.
"What's the matter with them?" Maria frowned at me.
"No clue... I didn't mean it... I was only messing about- " I stuttered, but Maria stopped me with a kiss.
"It wasn't your fault. " She simply said and pulled me downstairs.
"The canteen was almost empty, but considering it was already 1pm, it's understandable. I looked around and of course there was a table with everyone there, all our YouTube friends. Phil and Zoe who have been dating for over a year now and maybe it's because me and Phil are really close, but I heard something about an engagement! Really happy for them, as I was the one who actually set them up. Zoe was my childhood best friend.. We're still really close, but sometimes I get protective of her and Phil. If Phil ever hurt her, which I trust he wouldn't, I would kill him. Next there were Jake, who was probably the funniest Youtuber out of all of us, he's already reached 5 million subscribers! But he's sorted. Finn was sitting at the end, looking really moody...Alongside him sat Leah with her most recent crush Alex Haden. His hands were on her thigh and they were having yet another really dirty conversation. I wrinkled my nose.
"Guys..." I said to them. They looked up, laughed and changed the subject.
"Okay haha hello everyone, " Maria laughed, and sat down next to Leah, taking the menu, "What looks good?"
Everyone said their 'hello's and gave us some of their tried recommendations. Me and Maria ended up getting 6 huge pancakes, each with melted chocolate and syrup. Hey, we were hungry!
"The food is fucking great, wow!" I said.
"Yeah, they have really good chiefs, in here, " Jake laughed.
"I never want to leave this place, " Dan joked.
"Awh we have to go sight seeing around here! " Zoe spoke with her mouth full. Phil gently closed her mouth and I smiled as Zoe blushed. They're perfect for each other.
"Oh my god, we do! I'll show you all around here!" Alex said. He's from America, even though he lives in Manchester. He did the Vid Con too so he's come with us which is useful, as we can use him as a tour guide. I don't like him too much. He seems too arrogant. And I know him and Leah won't last.. She's just going to get hurt again. Which just makes me want to punch him. But I just need to remember she's 21 now. She can take care of herself. I met her at uni, she was doing the same course as me so we've known each other for a good couple of years.
"I don't want to go anywhere, thanks, " Said Finn standing up hastily and fast walking to the elevator, which opened in a second, and he was in without a backwards glance. I need to find out what's wrong, and see if I can sort it out... something's definitely up.
Okay guys, the second chapter was just introducing the characters. It wasn't too good as not much happened, it just sort of showed the relationships they have between one another. Vote and maybe leave a comment on what you would like to happen or some ideas?
