Fay's Point of View
I'm almost invisible at Clariton High School. Not popular, or super noticeable in any way, but one thing that no one notices are the little details, such as the little scratches all over the linoleum tiles from years of shoes being absentmindedly scuffed against them, or the hairline cracks along the top edges of doors and windows as if they were just waiting to inch out from their positions, or finally the small drop of concealer on Lydia Hugh's left shoulder that no one seems to notice, like I said no one notices the little details. If it weren't for my "amazing" knack for finding these little details I don't think anyone would have noticed the tiny circles of frost that bloomed from Skylar St. Claire's fingertips as she nervously tapped them along her binder, she absentmindedly brushed them away before holding her hand carefully at her side.
I ran up to her, was she part of the Order? The Order was a group of the last remaining Elementals, or at least most of them as here stood Skylar.
"Hey Skylar!" I said waving her down as she walked past.
"Oh hi" Skylar said hesitantly walking towards me.
"How's it going?" I asked I would have to catch her after school to get the answers I really needed, but normal conversation would work for now.
"Umm nothing much I should be getting to class now!" Skylar scurried off
Skylar's Point Of View
Talking to anybody always made me nervous. I already could feel ice creeping outwards along my binder, this time instead of brushing it off I went to the girls bathroom and locked my self in a stall. I placed most of my stuff down, all except for a small nub of a pencil which I had saved for an occasion such as this one, as my nerves slowly went away the pencil froze through completely. There that was better than freezing my binder! I waved my hand over the frozen pencil and it turned to a pile of snow and melted into water. I collected my things and exited the bathroom. Surprisingly things like this happened often but I guess it's just all part of being an Elemental.
