Sally Blofis POV
My name is Sally Blofis, and I've spent my entire life trying to keep my son safe.
It's been pretty difficult. Even before he found out about the whole son-of-a-god stuff, things have been happening to him his entire life. From school expulsions that really weren't his fault, to monsters attacking him before he'd even turned three, Percy has always been in trouble. At this point, I've stop expecting "safe" for him. I'd settle for happy. And he's not. Oh, he loves his friends and both camps and Annabeth and me, but he's angry. So angry I think he might explode soon if I can't find a way to help him. He says he's fine, that all he wants is some downtime in one of the camps surrounding by his friends. But I'm his mother. I see the desperation in Percy's eyes. He doesn't even know what he's desperate for.
When the wizards came to my doorstep, all I saw was my son's salvation. They could help Percy. I haven't seen beyond the mist so clearly in years, but I could see a glowing blue path everywhere they stepped. This Is where he had to go. This would save him.I was only reading when the doorbell rang, taking advantage of the few minutes I had to myself with Percy at camp and Paul helping a friend. "We aren't buying anything!" I yelled, settling back to finish the chapter. The doorbell rang again. I sighed as a sat up. "hold on a minute!" I rushed to the door's insistent ringing. Could they stop that already?
When I opened the door, the brightness almost blinded me. Which was a surprise because- was that the mist?
my vision cleared a little, and I felt my heart drop at the old man and and boy (only a little younger than Percy- gods, but he looked so much younger)stood outside. best not to open the door fully. My son had made a lot of enemies, and some might want to get to him through me.The old man spoke " Sally Jackson?"
" Blofis, actually. I've remarried ." The words were said distractedly. The boy, that boy- he was the bright one. I could almost see Percy standing next to him. He shifted under my gaze, and the old man coughed to get my attention.
"We're here about your son? Perhaps this would best be explained inside," He started to move inside Luke he expected me to let a complete stranger into my home. I held up a hand to stop him. No. I wasn't letting myself get pushed around. (not again).
I shook my head. "Mister. I'm sorry, but I have no idea who you are. Why, exactly, would I let you into my house with an obscure reference to something about my son? Especially when he isn't even here now."
The man looked extremely confused as to why I hadn't immediately bended to his will. "But, Mrs. Jackson -"
"Blofis" the bog muttered.
"Mrs. Blofis." The man started again. "Please, it's important information about your son's strange- you could say capabilities?"Capabilities? Alright so let it be know that at this moment the only thing I could comprehend was this: "oh. You're from that side of the family. Alright,I'll call Percy home, but he isn't here now. He's at camp, which you should probably know. Come back in a week, he should be back by then."
The boy leaned against the doorframe, obviously tired and even more obviously confused. "Um, wait, do you know-"
The man cut him off with an agreement to come back the week after.

Harry's PovSo i'll admit it, that hadn't gone the way I thought it would. First of all, sally blofis had defied all stereotypes when it came to "daughter of a maniac". I still almost can't believe that this is Voldemort's kid. Oh, sure, I️t seems a little strange that someone so evil ever slept with a girl, but ive seen pictures of him back then. That part doesn't surprise me at all. On the other hand, it's admirable that she wanted her son to be there while we talked. Most adults just don't care about that sorta stuff. This is America, though (no taxation without representation, anyone?) on top of that, what was the thing about being from "that side of the family"? Did she know about wizards already? I guess i was going to find out.
We returned later in the week. I️ didn't much want to go, but Dumbledore insisted.
Sorry my chapters are so short. And please comment on any spelling or grammar mistakes, I'm actually dyslexic and ADHD, though sadly not a half-blood. This one is a little shorter then the original chapter but I'm hoping to post again today to make up for it. (Did you get the joke in the title is I️t good is I️t)
