Here's chapter one. Enjoy. We'll be starting in Louis' point of view again.

It had been two weeks since the encounter with the wolf. I was still a little shaken up, not really being able to process what had happened. It's not every day you run into a wolf and it doesn't bite your head off.

Other than that, the house was almost finished. We just needed to have to call the plumber so he could fix the water spills that had been happening in the pipes. But at the moment, I was cuddling in the sheets on my bed, wrapped up in the book called Divergent. The sun was pooling in through the curtains, meaning I didn't have a reason to turn on the light.

Sighing in content, I bundled myself even more under the covers, if that was even possible, and scanned over the words on the page, not even paying attention to my book anymore. Rather, I was thinking about the wolf for the millionth time. I had seen him outside my window on the border of the woods while looking up at the house, as if he was waiting for me. He always came around five in the afternoon, when the sun was setting a bit and the shadows from the trees were dark on the forest floor.

I looked at the time, and it seemed that there was only twenty minutes to five. Today is the day that I will confront the wolf, I thought. Yes, today I was going to tell him to leave me alone. He was being rather creepy now, whether he knew it or not.

Fifteen minutes passed quickly, and I found myself putting on my coat and walking to the woods' edge, waiting patiently for the wolf.

When it was one minute past five, I saw him trotting towards the house, stopping once he had seen me. For a second, I thought he was going to attack me, but then I saw him running wildly with his tongue out of his mouth as he headed straight towards me.

I was frozen in place then, the wolf slapping a wet tongue over my cheek as he barreled right towards me. Once again, I fell on my bum while the wolf was present. I am such a clumsy ass.

The wolf was jumping all over, repeatedly licking my face, neck, and chest and sniffing my whole body, as if it was a scent he couldn't get enough of. He smelled strongly of evergreen trees and apple pie- I don't know where the latter came from, but I assumed the first was because he lived in the forest.

"Alright, alright!" I screeched while giggling as the wolf still licked me up and down, all over my face, never missing an inch. "Get off of me!"

The wolf hesitantly stepped back and whimpered, as if he was afraid he had upset me.

"Listen... wolf," I started, his eyes fixed intently on my baby blues, "you can't keep coming here. I don't know why you like me so much, but I'm new in town and it was my first day when we met and I fell on my ass and I really, really don't want my first friend to be a wolf."

I sighed, realizing he probably couldn't understand me, and was about to speak a shorter sentence but was cut off my his whimpers. My eyes widened.

"Wait," I paused, looking at the wolf with confusion, "how can you... how can you understand me? I mean, can you understand English?"

The wolf looked hesitant before slowly nodding its head, and my breath hitched.

"Alright, so I wasn't expecting this... I mean, I suppose you can stick around for a bit. But we won't be able to hang out for long. Like I said, I want my first friend to be a human. Got it?"

Nodding its head before once again pounding on me, I spit out some fur that had gone into my mouth. "Okay dog, get off," I laughed. He almost immediately obeyed, letting me stand up before snuggling his head into my neck, like a hug of sorts. I began running my hands through his soft fur and he cuddled even more into me.

"You like cuddles then, yeah? Me too, mate." He let out something that sounded like a chuckle, then huffed. He was a wolf that was one of a kind.

Harry's POV

I was ecstatic that the boy was allowing me to stay. Although I really wasn't acting like much of a normal wolf anymore, I didn't care. He was my mate, and I would do anything to stay around him. It was only a matter of time before I told him that him and I were both werewolves.

As he ran his small, soft hands through my fur, I let out a huff in bliss. He seemed beautiful, inside and out. I couldn't wait for him to have my children. Even though he was a male, he was an omega, which meant that he was able to get pregnant. He would look gorgeous with a baby bump.

"Hey, wolf, would you mind telling me your name or the first letter of it? I can go through the alphabet and if your name starts with that letter, you can huff for yes and not do anything for no. Alright?" I huffed, of course. I didn't like when he called me wolf.

"A," nothing. "B," nothing. "C," nothing. "D," nothing.

It continued this way until he got to the letter H, in which I huffed. He seemed pretty proud of himself, as he wore the largest grin that made my insides melt.

"Okay, so it starts with H. I'm going to do the same thing but list off names. Remember, huff for yes, nothing for no." I huffed again. I just wanted him to say my name.

"Alright, here we go," he breathed.

"Hunter, Hayes, Horton, Henry, Hudson, Harley, Harry-"

I suddenly huffed, followed by a happy bark. I loved the way it rolled off his tongue, loved the way he pronounced it. I turned my head and licked his cheek and mouth as he let out a wonderful, breathy giggle.

"Okay, you've made your point. Come on, stop it now," he tried to push me away, but I was too strong. My big, wet tongue left strips of saliva on his face. He was absolutely gorgeous, and I was having so much fun with this.

"Harry! Stop!" he yelled. Finally obeying his commands, I stepped back and smiled the best I could in this form. He was wiping his face with his sleeve and making faces of disgust, but he was still giggling a bit. When he put his hands down, I once again snuggled in his neck. He was absolutely glowing with happiness, and at this point his scent was so strong that I sneezed not once, not twice, but three times.

"Does the big wolf need a tissue?" he spoke in a baby voice, chuckling after he said it. I rolled my eyes and huffed before growling playfully, followed by a happy bark. He seemed startled, not expecting that at all.

"What? You might be able to understand me, but I can't understand you," he laughed as he furrowed his brows. I barked once again, putting my paw on his chest and hoping he got the message. He didn't.

Huffing for what seemed like the millionth time today, I lifted my paw and tried the best I could to point at myself. Then I barked and put my paw on his chest again. His furrowed eyebrows lifted, and his eyes sparkled.

"Oh! Um, are you asking what my name is?" I nodded. "Guess that's fair. You did tell me yours, after all. Well, not tell, per say, more like huffed, I guess?" He shook his head and chuckled. "I'm Louis."

I nodded, trying to smile again, but it was difficult. I may have just met him, but he already meant so much to me. He looked at his house, then looked back at me. "Tomorrow, yeah? Same time?" I huffed, nodding.

"Can I... can I maybe have one last cuddle?" he smiled shyly, opening his arms wide. I was ecstatic. He was beginning to accept me. I ran the short distance and snuggled into his neck, licking his cheek once more. When he stepped out, I immediately missed his warmth and the feeling of his skin.

"I'll see you later, Harry," he giggled before walking back to his house, turning around to wave at me before he went inside.

I couldn't wait for tomorrow.
