So sorry for the later update! I've had three big tests in a span of three days. High school sucks, man.
We're starting in Louis' point of view again.
Harry and I walked for what seemed like hours. We passed multiple openings that were guarded with leaves, and I was begging him to allow me to see what was behind them. At some points he simply said no and that we had somewhere to be, but other times he would stiffen, shake his head, and then trot away. I was curious as to what was behind them that made him nervous or angry, but I didn't want to disobey him. I would be certain to ask him about it later.
We suddenly then came to a stop- I almost bumped into Harry.
Looking up, my breath hitched at what I saw. Although it didn't look like much from here, it was absolutely beautiful. It was so modern, yet it looked like a house that would be built in the 1970s or something. It was made of wood on the sides and brick for the roof. There was a wooden wheel on the right side of the house right above a streaming river that spun the water, almost like it was conjuring its own little waterfall. The home was hidden by treats, making it harder to find. There were tinted windows on the front of the dwelling, and the wooden door had one as well. There were mossy stones leading up to the opening that were protected by leaves, bushes, and flowers. I had never seen anything like it.
Harry must have noticed that I was staring, as he bumped his side to mine, which almost made me topple over and fall in the river. I sent him an immediate glare.
Sorry, he giggled, sometimes I forget how much smaller you are than me.
I huffed, and then a sudden nervousness came over me. Was this his pack house? Was I meeting his friends? His family? Did he want me to move in with him?
Harry? What is this place? I questioned, putting my many thoughts into just two sentences.
This, he answered, is the pack house. I just want you to meet my friends, and then we can head back to your house so your mum doesn't get worried.
I nodded with hesitance. What were his friends like? Would they like me? What did they look like?
I'm sure they'll love you, darling.
And then he bumped his wet nose into my neck- a sign of love and assurance. If I could blush, I would be as red as a tomato. But right now, I was wondering how he had read my thoughts.
Your mouth is open, babe. I can still hear you.
My eyes widened in embarrassment, and I immediately closed my parted snout.
You'll get used to it. Come on now, let's go meet my friends.
I nodded at his words, but was opening my mouth once again.
How are they going to be able to actually meet me if we're both wolves?
Harry let out his wolfy laugh, but it rang out in his human voice in my head. It was beautiful either way.
