Part 6

Derek pov

"Uh, he was showing me a new song! Yeah, it's ine he hasn't shown anyone yet." Lex said coming up with an excuse. "Yeah!" I said going along with her excuse. Chad looked at us in disbelief. "Okay?.. If y'all say so." He winked.

He walked down the hall to the exit door and walked out. I sighed in relief. "You're good at excuses. I have to say, thanks for saving my ass." I smiled at her. She giggled as we continued to find KDL and Delany.

Lexi pov

His smile is everything to me, it's honestly amazing. But I still have some sort of feelings for Nate.. I know I shouldn't, but we were together for a long time. Maybe if we talk things out we could still be friends..?

Derek walked down the hall and found Delany talking to John. They both turned and looked at us. "What?" I asked. They both shook their heads meaning nothing. Derek and I looked at each other and rolled our eyes. They looked back at each other and continued their conversation about whatever they were talking about.

I walked over and rested my head on Johns arm because I'm too short to rest on his shoulder. "What's up munchkin?" He asked looking down at me. I shook my head. "Nothing, just tired. I was comfy on Dereks lap but nooo someone had to wake me up." They all laughed and Derek smiled. "Hey! It's not my fault they wanted me to record! I didn't wanna wake you, but I would've had to wake you up even if we weren't recording, I couldn't just sit in the car with you asleep on my lap. It would get cold and I would be bored." He chuckled. "Oh shut up Derek, you know you liked her face near that D." Chad called from down the hall. "Ewwey!" Delany and I shrieked.

"I gotta go record, you comin Lil Mama?" Derek asked me. "Depends, do I have to walk?" I asked lazily. Derek walked over and flung me over his shoulder and walked to find KDL. "Don't drop her Luh!" Swazz called as we walked away.
