Simon's POV

I sat in Tobi's car as he ran inside. I rolled my window down so I could actually breathe seeing that he turned the damn car off. I watched as he sprinted up the driveway in a panic, which I didn't really understand. Then he pushed the front door which was already open. 'That's not normal...' I thought. I then heard a loud crash and scrambled out of the car and onto my feet. I sped walked to the front and walked into the house to see Tobi on the ground. Sarah was still on her feet though and had tears running down her face. Then a man walked up behind her and grasped her hair in his hand and forcefully threw her weak body to the ground.

'Nah, I'm not having this. I'm not gonna stand here and watch my friends get beaten' I thought to myself, yet I was frozen in place. I couldn't move my body until it was filled with anger after hearing Sarah's soft cries. I've seen her kind of like this before, but not this bad. I sprinted at the man and placed a punch right in his jaw, knocking out a tooth. I then watched as he fell to the ground. He slowly stumbled as he got up. He then charged at me and tackled me to the ground. He returned the punch and I instantly knew that there would soon be a bruise for everyone to see.

He went to punch me again but I caught both of his fists in the attempt and struggled against him.

"You little shit!" His breathe smelled badly of alcohol. I finally threw him off of me and stood up. He did the same action as me, but before he could stabilize himself I threw one more punch. It landed right on his temple, knocking him out. I watched as his body slowly fell to the ground and didn't move after that. He was definitely still breathing though, so I hurriedly ran to Tobi and Sarah's assistance.

Tobi was stood trying to help Sarah up, but she stood up without needing his help. They both looked in my direction, fear apparent on their faces. Sarah reached her arms around Tobi for a quick hug. They stood there for a second and then exchanged a 'thank you' and 'any time' whilst I stood there quite awkwardly. I then broke the silence.

"You guys, we should get back to the house." They both responded with a nod and followed me out the door. We walked down the driveway to Tobi's car and began the journey back. The drive was mostly silent until Tobi spoke up.

"You did it. You actually took it."

"Yeah. I can't believe I actually managed to grab it in time. And there was so much of it too! I can definitely restart my life with it." Tobi chuckled at seeing her this happy after all that just happened. At this point, I was utterly confused and had no idea what they were talking about.

"There was so much of what?" I questioned.

"Money." It was such a simple response that I wasn't prepared for. And she planned on restarting her life? Who knows where she'll go or if I'll ever see her again after this. I couldn't respond, so instead I slumped in my seat and watched as Leeds disappeared.

-TIME SKIP-

We finally arrived back at the house and were instantly bombarded with questions.

'Where were you?'

'What happened?'

'Simon, where'd you get that bruise from?'

I looked at Sarah asking for permission to explain but she shook her head meaning to leave it.

"Nothing guys really. Now drop it." I spoke sternly, otherwise they wouldn't leave it alone. All the boys retreated back to their rooms or to the living room, leaving Sarah, Tobi, and I.

"I'm gonna go join the others" Tobi said whilst walking away. Sarah and I stood there awkwardly for a moment as neither of us knew what to do.

"I should probably go edit some videos." I walked towards the steps but stopped as Sarah called my name.

"Simon..."

"Yeah?" I asked. As I turned around I immediately felt a pair of arms wrap around me. I was shocked at first but snaked my arms around her waist to hug her back. She nestled her head into my chest as I squeezed her a bit tighter. I placed my ching and the top of her head and head a sniffle as she began to talk.

"Thank you. Thank you for everything." Then she began to cry harder. And then she began to ramble a bit. "I don't have anywhere to go. Sure I have the money, but finding a place is gonna take a long time and I think I should move away from London so my parents can't find me and-" Then she broke down in a fit of tears. She slowly sunk to the ground as her knees grew weak, but I went down with her to comfort her.

"Shhh, it's alright. We'll figure that all out later, you can stay with us for a while." Her sobs became quieter and quieter until she was completely calm. She pulled away from the hug slightly to look at me.

"Thank you so much, for everything Simon." We hugged again and stayed like that for a moment until her sniffling vanished. I then began to realize that she had fallen asleep in my arms. I carefully stood up and lightly picked her up bridal style to carry her to the guest room. I got up into the room and pulled the covers back. I placed her down then placed the duvet atop of her. I crouched down beside the bed and moved some of the hair out of her resting face. Then without thinking I place my lips on her forehead quickly before walking into my room.

My god, what is happening to me?
