I finally slap my alarm, and realize today is the very first day of High School in Miami, Florida... YAY!

My Aunt Morgyn actually used to own a bakery and now she is selling it to my mother, so Aunt Morgyn named it actually after my mother and thats so kind of her. And now that we live in Florida my dad thought it would be a good idea to become a teacher at the high school I am attending so that pretty much covers how much I won't be able to get a boyfriend until age 20. He applied while we were packing to move here.

"Oh your up Riley, time to get ready!" My mom, stood at the doorway and walked away knowing I would get up. I sat up and stretched then put on a cute outfit for my first day. I wore a pink v-neck and a flowy floral colorful dress it went down to my knee caps and in the back ended at my ankles with a jean vest to top it off, and brown long boots. I put mascara, and pink lipstick like always and curled my hair. I myself can say I looked nice, I hope people think so too.

"I'll drive you and Jacklyn to school today alright?" My mom shouted from downstairs, as I opened the door and went downstairs for breakfast, "Here I made you cereal, cause we have to go in two minutes." My mom was rushing around the house I guess she was just getting used to living here.

"Knock, knock guys!" Jacklyn opened the door and quickly ran to the kitchen to sit down.

"How'd you sleep Jack?" I asked taking a spoon-full of cereal.

"Good you?" She asked back, I nodded and I wondered how school was going to be like in Miami, was is going to be safe? Fun? Dangerous? I didn't know but I was soon about to find out.

"Girls time to head off to school!" My mom took my bag from my seat and brought it outside in the car.

"Alright, coming Jacklyn go to the car I'll be there soon." I took one last bite of my cereal and brought the plate to the sink. I walk out the door and head to the car, Jacklyn scoots over as I sit in the window seat fiddling with my fingers.

We pull up to the school, as kids begin to walk in.

"Alright girls, have a great day I'll be here to pick you up today. Bye!" My mom waves as me and Jacklyn step forward our new school. We look at each and we both take a step on the steps to enter the school. The office is on the right we go there first to recieve our class scheduals, we had most classes together but not all.

"Okay so Riley, we have called two students down to show you around the school. Riley meet Maya Hart and Farkle Minkus." The staff lady, Ms. Clark shows me the two students and I smile at both. Farkle holds out a hand and I shake it, then after Maya holds a hand out I shake it.

"So Maya, Farkle show Riley around the school I have passes for you guys to make it back to class." She hands us the passes and we exit the office. Jacklyn is still in there I guess she was also getting a tour from somebody too.

"Sup I'm Maya, this here is Farkle." Maya smiles at me, I return the gesture.

"I'm Riley Matthews." I say as Farkle and Maya begin walking I follow.
