A Fairy Tale Of Violence
Chapter two
"However you will get in, though, i wonder." I said, feeling sleepy.
"Easy... we break in." He said gruffly.
"You can try..." i trailed off, feeling increasingly weak. "Why do i feel so drained, so tired... is it because i have been talking to you?"
"It could be." He said. I could see from just underneath my lashes, that he was watching me with a look of amazement.
"What?" i said drowsily.
"You're glowing." He said, in a strange voice.
"Hmm, does tend to happen." I tried to stretch, but all that moved were my wings, stretching widely out.
I saw him turn away and begin talking to the other Asena's, it was in a different tongue, but i could easily understand it, though which ever language it was, i did not have a name for it.
"Are you sure it is she?" said the smallest one in the group.
"Positive, she knows everything and yet she has never left her prison." Said Avackner confidently.
"How shall we get to her though... if the council finds out about this..." said one with a deep growl to his voice.
"Oh who cares, were already at war with them, what more could happen?" said the small one and was instantly hushed by the others.
"We shall have to use magic, and act quick before anyone else shows up." Said another one, it was hard to keep track of who was speaking so now all i heard was voices.
"What? magic, spells or power?"
"A bit of both, i gather, and a bit of brute strength."
"Shall we try och valey moosay?"
"No, we might harm her that's a bit strong."
"How about montika folasow."
"Bit too weak, think guys, think!"
"You need to do some thinking yourself, young one!"
There was an annoyed growl.
"I got it!"
"What?"
"Don't keep us in suspense!"
"Malvoy makseena volleynatra!"
"Of course!!"
"Yes!"
There were a few murmured cheers before they came over to me. I forced my eyes open.
"We shall go round the other side, to prevent arm coming to you." Said Avackner.
I nodded, my head moving gently. They moved around me, to the far left, they formed like a brick wall, shoulder to shoulder, just touching.
In sync they all said;
"Malvoy makseena volleynatra!"
I felt air rush around me, making me gasp, my eyes flying open. Then i felt heat just brush against my skin, quick and fast, a flare of pain then it was gone. I pushed myself till i sat up and saw the Asena's walking towards me, the shield now gone. I fell back down, feeling weaker before. I couldn't breathe; no air would go into my lungs. I was gasping, trying hard and failing to breathe. I felt pain in my chest, so fierce i thought i was dead already. Suddenly, arms went around me and lifted me, till i was on my feet, but not exactly standing.
"God, i hope she don't hurt me for this..." said Avackner voice.
Suddenly i felt lips to mine. Lips moving against mine gently, i could feel air filling me as Avackner kissed me, something i had never felt before, it was so strange... it made me feel lightheaded, dizzy and weak all rolled into one. It made me tremble and shiver, sending a riot of emotion rocketing inside of me. My hands went around his neck, moving without me even thinking of it, clinging to him tightly, enjoying the feeling of being with another person after so long. I felt my wings shift; they curled around both of us, closing us together. I could hear his panting breaths; feel his warm arms around my waist. The air i had been longing for filled me, consumed me, made my lungs operate. I sighed softly in relief and he pulled back. He kept looking into my eye, his own were wide, both our breathing was fast and wild. I stilled felt weak, drained - but at least i can breathe now.
"Well that was interesting..." i said softly.
"Tell me about it." He said.
He began detangling himself from me and my wings folded back. I got a good look at him in the light, in his human form.
He had black messy hair, wild an untameable, his eyes were black, a perfect match. He was tall and lean, sinewy. He was a good six maybe seven inches taller than me. His skin was very lightly tanned and he looked healthy, strong.
The other Asena's had not changed back, but had watched with intrest.
"Thank you." I said quietly to him.
He smiled wickedly at me. "No problem, what can i say? I like helping damsels in distress."
I smiled at him. "Where to now, though? Which paths will we take and what will be at the end of each path?"
His eyes cast downward for a split second when he looked back up his eyes seemed to search mine. "The future is the future... we are in the past and right now we must move."
I turned from him, intent on carrying my own weight. I took one step and weakness washed over me. I staggered and would have fallen, but i felt an arm slip around my waist and hold me up easily.
"I can walk, i know i can!" i muttered angrily, shame filling me.
"Till then-"he cut off by swinging me up, one arm under my knees, the other behind my shoulders. I sighed softly and rested my head against his shoulder. Thankfully he didn't seem to mind much.
"My wings aren't poking you or anything?" i said worried, because they might hurt.
"Don't be silly i should be asking you whether your comfortable or not." He said looking down at me as he began to walk. The others followed silently.
"Now who's being silly? I'm perfectly fine." I grumbled.
He chuckled low in his throat and then we lapsed into silence.
I was so happy, i was free from my prison, i was near people again and i had finally kissed someone, that someone being the gorgeous king of the Asena's. He could probably hear how fast my heart beat is beating right now. My mind had cleared; being in fresh air had helped me. I no longer felt like i was on drugs, well. Almost. I felt tired still so i closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling of being held in warm arms, and slept.
