Daryl and Devon made love just like he said.. All night long, from one end of the cave to the other and back again. Their last night would be memorable to say the least. Devon was sore, battered and exhausted but loved every minute of it. She loved this man more then she loved anything, and gave herself freely to him. Whatever and however he wanted. Daryl has committed himself to her, only her for the rest of his time on this earth. She is his heart and soul and nothing could or would ever changed that. They silently vowed in the light of the moon and fire that they were one on to each other. Their love and respect, is endless with no boundaries.
Their moonlight pact to honor and cherish...Forever.

The next morning they woke up and gathered the rest of their things and made there way to the bike. It's been about a week or so since Daryl has been back home, and he couldn't wait for everyone to meet Devon. Devon on the other hand, was scared to death. She didn't know these people, or this place. She trusted Daryl with all of her heart, but she was still very worried. Hesitation filled every step she took. She looked back every couple of minutes, to see the home she knew for so long now, slowly disappear in the background. Daryl started the bike, and Devon got on and sat behind him. Tears covered her cheeks, she wiped them away quickly so he wouldn't see. She grabbed a hold of Daryl tightly as they made their way down the back roads to the gates of Alexandria.
Everyone must of heard the bike, cause there was a small group of people gathering around as they pulled in. The looks on their faces off relief and concern. Rick, Carl, Glenn and Maggie were the first ones there. " Damn man I thought i'de never see you again" Rick said as he embraced Daryl as he got off the bike. " I'm all right, I'm good" Daryl said as he looked over at Devon still sitting on the bike. She was wide eyed, and silent. Daryl came over and helped her off the bike. He took her trembling hand into his and gave her alittle squeeze to reassure her everything was ok. Everyone was silent, waiting for Daryl to speak. " Everyone this is Devon, I found her in the woods, saved her from a walker awhile back, She's gonna be stayin with me from now on" Devon quietly said hello to the group. Maggie went up and introduced herself. " If you need anything, just come find me ok?" Devon nodded. Daryl and Devon walked up the street to his house. The one at the end of the row. Devon looked at all the houses as they walked by, perfect little boxes all lined up in a row. She was shocked at how untouched this little community was. The walls were big and wrapped around the whole thing. Devon followed Daryl up the steps to his house. He opened the door, and dropped his gear and bags in the dining room. Devon walked in slowly, looking at it with amazement. It was so big, and bright. She felt so exposed and wild, like when a bird flies into an open window and can't find its way out. Daryl walked over to Devon and wrapped his arms around her waist. " You ok darlin?" Yea, just alittle overwhelmed I guess" " I know sweetheart, but it's gonna be ok. I'm right here with ya" Devon shook her head. Daryl leaned in slowly and kissed her soft lips. She melted into it. They kissed for a minute,. Daryl could tell Devon was relaxing some. He looked into her eyes, those beautiful green eyes. " Welcome Home Mrs. Dixon."
