Group Project ~ Part II ~

May hurriedly sat in her seat. " Oh? Why such a rush Carrot? " Tsukishima taunted from his seat behind her.

" I got out of practice late Slim Shady. " May shot back. Tsukishima pulled May's hair, " Are you trying to start something? " May screeched, getting her hair out of hid hands.

" May, calm down. " The teacher asked. ' WHEN DID HE GET HERE!? ' May shuffled in her seat. " Okay, we're having a group project. " friends gave eachother 'the look'. " I'll be choosing the groups. " everyone groaned.

The teacher started putting people into groups of three. " Tsukishima, May, and Yamaguchi, you'll be together. "

" NO WAY! " May and Tsukishima yelled in unison. " Quit copying me! " they once again, yelled in unison.

...

" I can't believe I have to work with you. " May grumbled as she read the paper with information for the project.

" You better actually help with this. " Tsukishima handed a highlighter to May so she could highlight the important stuff.

" I'm the only one doing any work! " May snapped at him.

" Where do you guys wanna meet to work on this? " Yamaguchi asked.

May turned her head towards Yamaguchi, completely forgetting he was there " Uh, we can meet at my place. "

" I bet it's a mess. " Tsukishima commented.

May once again turned back to Tsukishima " I bet it's cleaner than yours you Giraffe! "

" May, can you take this to class 1-3? " The teacher held a folder out to May.

" Oh uh sure. " May grabbed the folder and walked out the door. She spotted the door to class 1-3, pushing the door open. Only to run right into someone. How does this always happen to her?

" Oh sorry. " A male with black hair held his hand out for May to grab. He pulled her up, and she brushed off her skirt.

" It's okay. " May smiled at him, causing him to blush a tiny bit. " Well, could you scoot a bit? " He shifted to the side slightly. " Thank you~ " She walked in and set the folder on the teacher's desk.

" Took you long enough. " Tsukishima muttered once May got back.

" Well soorry! I bumped into a boy. One that was kinda cute at that. " May crossed her arms and turned her head away from him.

Tsukishima scoffed " I bet you think every guy is cute. Americans are so damn flirty. "

" Can we just work on the project, Tsukki? "

" I'm here too Yamaguchi! " May yelled at the green haired male.

Yamaguchi rubbed the back of his neck " Oh, sorry. When are we meeting at your house after school?"

" After I finish practice. Which is at 9:00. " May answered simply.

" You practice 'till 9? " Tsukki was confused why someone would dedicate so much time to practice.

" Yes. Volleyball is a big part of my life thank you very much string bean! " The two were somewhat surprised that she played volleyball.

" You play volleyball? " The two said in unison.

" Just get back to work! " She smack both of their heads with rolled up pieces of paper.

" Ne, May! What middle school did you go to? " Nori looked up towards May a looked of curiosity was in her eyes covered by her glasses.

" Wither Wood Middle School in Maine. " May answered " How about you? "

" Kitagawa Daiichi. " Nori looked proud of her old school.

" Never heard of it. "

" Well I never heard of Wither Wood! " Nori yelled.

" Can you just set the ball? " Toshiko said from the other side of the net.

" Girls! Gather around! " Yui yelled to her teammates who quickly obeyed.

" Okay, we're going to have a practice game to see where the first years are. Toshiko, May and Ai will be on a team. Mitsoka, Nori and me will be on a team. "

" Whhhaaa! Captain that's so unfair. We don't have a setter! " Ai whined.

" I used to be a setter. Don't get your damn panties in a wad. " Toshiko muttered.

" Really!? " May's eye lit up at hearing this.

" Well I just said I was, and do I have any reason to lie Miss America? " Toshiko tried to smile innocently at May.

" N-No. " Toshiko's 'innocent' smile was more intimidating that her normal scowl.

Nori tossed May the keys to the gym. " Make sure you lock up. "

" Will do~ " May caught the keys and tossed them into her bag. 

Kayden got up from sitting next to May's bag and picked up a volleyball from the cart. " Would you like me to set you the ball? " Kayden asked with his mockingly polite tone.

" Yup. " Kayden knew the basics of volleyball. Mainly how to set since May always had him set to her when she couldn't practice with an official setter.

" I think I might join the boys' team. " Kayden suddenly said. May tossed the ball to him.

" Oh really? " Kayden set the ball to his sister. May easily spiked it.

After about 20 sets Mat turned to her brother " Kayden what time is it? "

" 8:45. "

" WE GOTTA GO! " May rushed to her bag. She sprinted out the door.

" May the door! " May fished the keys out of her bag and ran backwards to the door to lock it.

" We've been waiting here for 20 minutes. " Tsukishima was sitting on May's bed with a scowl.

" Oh get over it. I lost track of time. " May threw her bag down on the ground.

" Can you two please stop arguing? "

They all sat down on May's floor to work on the project. After a few hours of work they had finally finished.

Each of them flopped backwards " Group projects suck. " All three of them said in unison.
