Johzenji ~ Part VI ~

Today was Saturday, the day of the match with Johzenji. May was bustling with excitement and couldn't sit still for a second, and honestly it was starting to piss Toshiko off.

" Can't you sit still for the rest of the ride? " Toshiko's glare was a normal thing nothing weird there, but it was more angry now.

May jumped " Sorry! I'm just really excited. "

Mitsoka, from the seat across from them, sitting with Masami turned to May and asked with a shaky tone " How can you be excited? I feel like I'm gonna throw up. "

Masami sighed " Please don't throw up on me at least. "

Ruri, who was part of the 'B Team' was one of black haired girls that had green eyes, shouted from the front of the bus " DON'T THROW UP AT ALL! "

Shoma was the other black haired girl who had blue eyes, and was sitting next to her covered her mouth " Sis, I feel like I'm gonna throw up. "

Ruri screeched " DON'T! "

" IF YOU THROW UP DO IT OUT OF THE WINDOW DAMN IT! " Ai yelled.

After a quite loud and hectic ride to Johzenji, they finally got off the bus and everyone was feeling okay. Well, everyone but Nori. She was fidgety and looked nervous. ' Probably just pre-game nerves. ' well, she would've stuck with that thought if she didn't hear Nori groan as a girl in a Johzenji uniform and short, curly brown hair walked up to them.

" Nori. " The girl nodded towards the setter.

Nori scowled at her " What do you want, Hoshi? "

The girl, who was finally given a name, frowned " Are you still mad at me? You should be mad at yourself, after all it was your fault. "

Nori grit her teeth and dug her nails into her palms, " How is it my fault that you're a bitch? "

Hoshi stepped forward and got into Nori's face " I'm a bitch am I? Please explain why to me. "

" Because you blamed me for-- " Nori was cut off by Ai pulling her back and glaring daggers at Hoshi.

" I dare you to talk to her like that again. " Ai growled lowly at the brunette. 

Hoshi just smirked in response, " Now, now, we should continue this on the court. " she turned around and started to walk away " I'll have fun beating you, Nori. "

May turned towards Toshiko " Who was that..? "

Toshiko glared at where the girl was walking away " From what I heard her name is Hoshi. And from how she talks I know she's a bitch. "

Mitsoka decided to join in on the conversation " Preach. "

" To-chan did you warm up enough? " Aoi looked up at the taller female with a worried expression.

Toshiko muttered " Of course I did idiot.." she turned away blushing a bit.

Mitsoka and May snickered in the background, " Aoi and Toshiko sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g " they sang in unison.

" You dumbasses! " Toshiko screeched at them as she hurled at volleyball at them.

The volleyball happened to hit Mitsoka right in the face " NOO!! MITSOKA'S DOWN! " May dramatically got on her knees and held Mitsoka, acting as if she was dead.

Ai picked both of the girls up " We're about to start so get yourself together pleeassee~ "

" Yes ma'am! " All 3 of the girls saluted her. Toshiko and May got in position, ready to begin play. Mitsoka stood on the sidelines ready to cheer them on.

The ref blew the whistle. It was Karasuno's serve. Well May's serve for that matter. May closed her eyes, breathed in through her nose and out through her mouth. She felt completely ready to serve this one. May threw the ball up, jumped up and hit it with all of her might.

The ball looked like it was going right to the libero but made a sharp turn to the left. Johzenji's libero looked shocked for a second but smiled brightly. " HOSHI!! DID YOU SEE THAT!? "

Hoshi smirked " Yea that was a killer serve. I think that's a first year too. "

" I'm gonna get the next one. " The libero licked her lips and smirked at May.

' We'll see how well that goes. ' May repeated the process but hit the ball with the heel of her hand this time making the ball clip the top of the net and falling in the front.

One of Johzenji's spikers got it up, but it was a little low. The setter bumped it " Hoshi! "

" Got it! " Hoshi did her run up and jumped to spike the ball.

' As much as I hate to admit it...May's serves are amazing...I need to make sure they don't get the point. ' Toshiko thought to herself as she jumped up to block it.

Hoshi looked to where she could hit the ball without getting blocked, Toshiko noticed this and moved her hands there just as Hoshi hit the ball.

Hoshi narrowed her eyes at Toshiko, but the first year just smirked at her and gave her a look that said, 'I'll-block-you-again'.

" Karasuno's damn first years are annoying. " Hoshi muttered under her breath.

Nori looked at Toshiko like a proud mother " You showed her! "

The score was now 19 to 17, Johzenji in the lead. It was Hoshi's serve, " I'll show Karasuno that they aren't the only one with nice serves. "

Nori turned to Masami " Sorry to put a weight on your shoulders, but do you think you can handle this? "

" Of course I can. I wouldn't be a libero if I couldn't. " Masami kept her eyes right on the ball. Not wavering for a second.

The ball went towards Ai, who wasn't all that good at receiving. " I'll get it! " Masami called as she moved in front of the ace and watched as the ball hit her arms, and went right to Nori. Masami quickly moved out of the way.

Nori set the ball " Ai! "

Ai spiked the ball right through the block. Nori jumped onto Ai and hugged her like a koala " That's my ace! That's a good, good ace! " she ruffled the brunettes hair.

" Nori! Get off damn it! " Ai pushed at the setter to get off but, surprisingly she had a pretty good grip on her.

Now the score was 24 to 23, Karasuno in the lead, Johnzenji's serve. A first year on their team served it over, May easily received it.

Toshiko set it for, " Nori! Get the last! "

This shocked most of the team, shocked Toshiko herself a bit. Nori spiked a straight, to the point where it was almost on the line.

' Ah..That felt nice. IN YOUR FACE HOSHI! ' The whole team smiled at her, besides Toshiko, who just look away but gave her a thumbs up.

' I love this team so much. ' Nori thought as she smiled back at them brightly.
