Niall Horan, was my best friend. Was as in past tense. He left for the X-factor, I left for America. Haven't heard from him sense. I thought we were best friends maybe more. But 15 years obviously didn't mean a thing to him. Now I have Harper, and its all better. Right?

 Ha ha try again.

Allison's P.O.V.

flashback:

I cried some more as he pulled me closer.

"Shhhhh its ok Alli-boo. I got your back and I always will."  Niall  said as he stroked my hair. I honestly don't like my hair being played with but it is different when he does it. Also NO ONE besides Niall can call me Alli-boo. Its always been that way, he came up with the nick name and we both get angry when someone besides us uses it because we hate copy cats. Plus its our thing.

"No it wont be ok for me, you are my only real friend." I said well sniffling. And it was true everyone else liked me because I was pretty. Also they all were too fake for my liking.

" I will be back its not like I am going to win" He said well chuckling.

" I got you a present" He continued. Knowing presents were my weakness.

He handed me a little black box. I carefully opened it. A beautiful necklace laid inside. It was silver and the shape of half a heart. In little black writing it said BEST. Right then Niall showed me his wrist. a silver charm bracelet with a black half heart. FRIENDS, it said scribbled in silver.

"Thank you"  I said embracing him in a tight hug. Right then his mom Maura came out.

" Its time, Niall" Maura said tearing up. She knew how close me and Niall were because her and my mother are best friends.

" I love you" He whispered into my ear.

" I love you too. Go rock the world" I whispered.

He got in the car and looked at me well his mother drove away. I know what your thinking, luckiest girl in the world dating Niall Horan. But we are not dating just best friends just like our bracelet said. 

I walked next door into my home to see my mother in a ball crying.

"MOM what's going on" I said I already missed Niall and didn't need more drama.

" Your...Your....dad" she stuttered out.

"What about him" I said my dad and I had a perfect relationship I loved him with all my heart.

"He committed suicide." My mother whispered.

At that very moment my heart shattered. And my world turned upside down."

Flashback over."

After that dreadful day. I stopped talking to Niall. He would text, call, and email. But I ignored them all. I just missed him so much. We moved to California 2 weeks after my dad passed away. Its been a year now and I missed my dad and Niall. He would still text me but I never answer. He just took 3rd place in the X-factor with his new band and best friends One Direction. Now he is going back to Mullingar for the first time sense he left. He will soon find out I am halfway across the world. A tear escaped my eye as I grabbed my necklace I never take the thing off.

Niall's P.O.V.

"Who is this again?" Harry asked picking up the picture frame of me and Alli-Boo. I was carrying her bridal style. We were both laughing because her little brother Shad had just ran outside naked because he wanted to make sure he got to say goodbye to me. That was the last day I ever saw my little Alli-Boo and her wonderful family. I missed her with all my heart but it hurt because I  wanted her as my girlfriend. But to her we will always just be best friends. I couldn't wait to see her. We were stopping in all the lads home towns for a week. Mine was last, but at least I would be with the love of my life, although she would see it as just seeing her best pal again.
