We follow Kate around the ruins of Arlington. She stops at an old warehouse that has a sign that reads: Burt's Meat and Butchery.

"Huh, never knew that we had a butchery around here. This is where Mom must've gotten all of the sausage," I say blankly.

"And now it's our hideout. Tell one person about this and I will personally feed you to the aliens," Kate says, running her finger across her throat to show death.

"Okay okay, we won't tell anybody because there is nobody to tell anyways," Jeff says.

We walked inside the warehouse and to my surprise it looked like the inside of an expensive house.

"Dang, what did you guys do in here?" I asked shocked at what had happened.

"What?" Jeff asked "It still looks like an old warehouse to me."

"Oh my, you can," Kate says under her breath.

"I can what?" I ask wondering how I could hear her.

"You can see everything, right?" she says.

"Yes," I say looking around me.

"Ok, what is over there?" asks, pointing towards a marble pillar.

" A marble pillar," I say, stating the obvious.

"Ok. Now think of a bow and imagine every little detail," Kate says carefully.

I think of the recurve bow that I left behind the car. A golden mist encased my body . I stick my hand out as the replica of my bow formed in my hand. I even feel the familiar weight of the quiver filled with arrows around my shoulder. The feeling is extraordinary. I feel truly alive. The mist clears and I reach for an arrow, nock my bow, and fire.

"W-W-Wha..." Jeff starts.

"Wow," Kate states, still in shock like Jeff. "Hey Eric, I found somebody!" she yells.

A tall man with yellow eyes, tan skin, and dark hair with a green t-shirt and jeans ran out.

"We found another one, look," Kate says to Eric as she points at me.

"Great. Hey, my name is Eric Tran, the creator of this little organization I guess I can call it. We are a group that has been living in secret for a while. We welcome you if you decide to join us. Very few people have the power that you have. We haven't seen somebody as young as you be able to use their powers at this young of an age. Well I'll let you-" he was cut short by the sound of concrete breaking and a building crashing down. We all hear a scream as a person comes flying off the top of the building. Without any thought, a random instinct comes to mind mind.

A cushion of air...

I think of a cloud and one forms under the body and sets it on the ground. The figure gets up and runs over.

"Josh! What were you doing!" Kate exclaims.

"I was scavenging like you told me to!"

"I did say that building was going to come down any day!"

"Well, hey, thanks for saving me," he says with a shy shrug.

"Oh no, that wasn't me, it was the newbie over there,"

she says pointing at me yet again.

"What, really? This kid saved my life. I thought that magic didn't start in people as young as him," Josh said in disbelief.

"What, your like three years older than me!" I yell.

"Yeah and I only got my powers a few months ago," he said
