Sophie Turner.

I walk through the front doors smiling at the doorman who holds it open for my family and I. A quick glance around the house and I'm in awe. Although I have seen this house many times before it never ceases to amaze me. The maids have decorated their ballroom in a black tie attire and the place is absolutely stunning. I immediately find Alpha Kyle's son Max and wave. He waves back making his way over to where I'm standing.

"Soph, looking lovely as ever," he tells me with a wink.

"You don't look too shabby yourself Max, who knew you actually owned a suit and tie," I reply playfully.

He laughs and shakes his head, "That's exactly what my father said."

I laugh along with him and we soon become lost in conversation. Suddenly I feel a pair of eyes locked on me making me glace around. I no longer have the feeling them but in the pit of my stomach butterflies are erupting. I can feel my wolf growing more and more excited.

What is going on? I ask myself. I've never felt this way before.

I shake it off and turn back to Max who leads me towards the dance floor begging me to dance. I agree hesitantly as he sweeps me into his arms swirling us around. We become lost in our own world of music and laughter when suddenly a loud growl erupts from the outskirts of the crowd. I jump and Max pulls me behind him and the growling gets louder, nearly shaking the whole house. I shutter in delight at the sound, then blink and cock my head to the side in confusion.

"Let go of her, NOW!" The command rings through the room, and the sound of glasses clanging together can be heard among the echoing silence.

Max releases me as if under a trance, the command resonating through his movements.

I thought Alphas couldn't be commanded by other wolves. I think to myself. My wolf purrs in appreciation, soaking in the powerful vibe this mysterious wolf is giving off. I feel a sudden tug inside urging me to walk towards the voice.

My eyes lock onto the owner of the booming voice and I find myself looking into two pools of blue. I blink a few times, not believing my eyes but when he remains in my sight I take a step towards him. I hear my father gasp in shock and faintly register him struggling to reach me. All the while the mysterious yet gorgeous man moves closer to me. He continues to move closer until we're inches apart.

Suddenly the room around us disappears as he stares into my eyes.

"What's your name love?"

My mind barely registers what he says, too enthralled by the husky tone of his voice.

"Sophie" I manage to mumble, my eyes still locked on his.

He reaches out for my hand and kisses it, "Sophie," he repeats breathlessly.

I smile at him and ask timidly "What's yours?"

"Caleb," he replies his voice soft, almost as if he were talking to a shy animal.

"Hi," I squeak not knowing what to say.

He laughs lightly making me tremble, "Hello lovely."
