'I said we could be friends.'
"Yeah.."
'I thought I could make it work."
She stood there.
'But I was in pain.'
"Mhm.."
'So I started telling you lies..'
She took a seat on a bench.
'It got bad.'
"Not really.."
'No, not the white lies I told you.'
"Oh?"
'I started telling myself I didn't love you.'
Her eyes fell to the ground.
'But I want to love you.'
She brought her knees to her chest.
'So..I came here..to tell you.'
"Okay."
'You are the source of my lies.'
"I'm sorry."
'And I love you. I can't keep it in.'
She looked at me and smiled.
'I don't want to lie to myself..'
"Well,"
'No, wait.'
I grabbed her hand,
and she tightened her grip around mine,
creating a bond between us.
I pulled her from off the bench, and into my arms.
"I love you too. I miss you even more."
'Good.'
"But..you left me."
'I don't want to talk about that. I fucked up.'
She was perfect. In every way, shape, and form.
From her pale skin, to her brown eyes.
I would no longer lie.
Not even, small little..
White lies.
Because I found out,
That they aren't innocent.
And white lies,
can kill.
