I put my arm around Andy to support her to be able to walk. She was limping while I helped her walk but she was still strong. I had to use all my strength but I was able to pull the wagon as well. It took maybe twenty minutes but we were able to return back to the cave Clover and I were in. I sat Andy down and handed her a blanket we had in our backpack. I started a fire and was about to sit back down on my little bed till I felt a hand grab mine.
Andy grabbed it and didn't want me to leave her. I sat down back by her. I then remembered I had to treat her wounds. I quickly pulled the blanket off of her, then I took her jacket off of her. Quickly, I looked for a wound. I searched as fast as I could and I found it. It was on her abdomen, I didn't want to just pull her shirt off to make her feel uncomfortable but, I didn't want her bleeding out. I unbuttoned her shirt and I saw her bra. Her face looked red and she held onto my hand tighter from the pain. I used her shirt as a cloth on her abdomen to keep the pressure.
"Andy....are you okay?" I asked her, pushing down.
"Does it look like I'm okay! This hurts so bad!" she screamed in pain.
I saw Clover wake up due to Andy's screams. I kept trying to keep the blood in, Andy held on to me in fear. Clover got up and walked over to me. "Oh, what's going on?" she asked in a sassy tone.
"I'm trying to save her life! Can you hand me that rag?" I asked her.
"Sure....why not?" Clover moved over and tossed me the rag. "Who is she?"
"My friend Andy. I found her dying," I replied.
"Oh, that's her." I nodded and kept helping Andy.

-Hours went by and morning came. Andy made it through the night and healed well. We all slept well and made it. I woke up to someone kissing my cheek. I could feel the soft pecks at my cheek and I could feel myself getting happy. I opened my eyes and saw Andy kissing me awake. I woke up and smiled and had a morning tone, "good morning Andy."
"Good morning," She smiled, "the wound really healed up."
"That's good," I said getting up, "what happened? Your were suppose to be back in a week not days and who did this to you?"
"Soldiers....they came and asked me questions and slashed the knife at me. It didn't kill me because I was able to hold him off and kill the rest of them," she sighed, "this is getting bad Marcus. I don't know what they want."
"They're looking for people that have seen death."
"Seen death? Why does that matter?"
"Your mind works differently if you have, you're stronger and braver than most if you have."
"So any death?"
"No. Someone close to you, like a family member or friend's death."
"I saw my mother die." she cried.
So she's an experiment. That's makes sense why she's a really good hunter and fighter. "I don't know why I'm an experiment."
"Have you seen anyone die that's close to you?"
"Not that I remember."
Andy picked up a gun, "I'll keep watch and wake up Clover. You can...eat some food from the wagon."
I nodded and grabbed the wagon. I watched as Andy woke up Clover. They seemed fine with each other's presence, but a little uncomfortable. I ate a few crackers and Clover joined me. Her hair was down not in a pony tail until before. Her looked beautiful. Long, soft waves at the her ends, and brown hair that was a natural ombré. You could tell she's rich just by her hair.
She ate some crackers as well and I decided to break the silence, "do you know how to use a gun?" The answer was obvious. I just wanted to know what she'd say.
"No." she laughed, "I haven't held a gun in my life."
"I think it's time you learned how." I smirked, "Andy!"
"Yeah?" she replied asking why I called for her.
"I think it's time Clover learns how to become one of us."
"Good luck," Andy joked.
Clover rolled her eyes and laughed. "So are we heading out?"
"Yes we should. Andy we have to leave the wagon here, it'll only attract more attention."
"Okay I will go get it later."
I then remembered, Jax. He was taken by the government. I hope he hasn't seen death, if he has, we're all dead. When we get back home I don't know exactly what will happen, but it probably won't be good. Raelyn hasn't seen death, unless there's something I don't know about. I don't know about my grandpa though. He could have lost a best friend somehow, or saw his parents die a long time ago. Clover is safe, she's rich and because of that she's not an experiment or an Unfortunate.
"Let's move out."

--After hours of constant walking and being alert with our guns, we made it back to Dawnlight. I memorized the path we were on and could follow it back to my house easy. I started to run with joy filling my head. It was getting dark out so it was harder to see to some people, however, when I'm home, nothing is dark. It's all happy. I almost started to skip with joy from my happiness. Clover seemed confused but I could tell Andy was more excited than I was to be home.
I saw my house and we ran in. I could tell my grandpa and sister were sleeping so we stayed quiet. We all hung out in our little living room area and sat on some cushions. I'm so happy we made it home.
"My feet hurt!" Andy complained.
"Oh shush," I laughed, "it's been worse."
"Like that stupid high school course we had to do?" she reminded me.
I started to drift into thought and flashbacks.....
