"And this is... the bathroom?" Lila laughed, putting her arm out to the side the showcase the door to the womans bathroom. I held back a laugh as we continued the 'tour' the two girls were giving me of the campus, and followed behind them. I was still a little on edge about what happened yesterday with Ashton, and prayed that we would not run into him in the hallway.

I messed with the hem of my purple polo, and looked down to my outfit. A regular outfit of mine, a polo and a loose fitting skirt, paired with a pair of Toms or leather sandals. Comfy enough, and definitely not too exposing. I looked back up to the girls, walking a few steps ahead of me and laughing about a girl in a classroom who was trying too hard to get some guys attention.

Jess' long hair was pulled into a cool bun, a large barrette keeping the 'do in place. Her makeup was the same as yesterday, black lining her eyes, beautifully done, even though I could never pull it off. Her outfit was different than anything I had ever seen, and seemed to fit her well. Black fishnet pantyhose underneath high waisted jean shorts, and an ovesized sweater on top. Big black combat boots covered her feet, the leather adding a different look to the whole outfit. They definitely did not dress like that at home.

Lila was clad in a black 'skater skirt', as she called it, and another one of those crop tops that went above her bellybutton, this time white. But with the skirt, only a sliver of her mid-riff was exposed, and I appreciated the look of less skin. Her makeup was the same as yesterday, but her eyes today were what I assumed to be her natural color, a light green, almost hazel. She wore thick black rimmed glasses on the bridge of her nose, and black boots almost identical to Jess' were over her feet.

They both slowed to a stop to join back at my sides, and continued walking down the halls. "This is the artsy hallway." Jess said, waving her arms at the magnificent walls, covered in paintings and photographs, metal and paint, all put together beautifully in a collage of all of the students work. I admired the white walls, covered in numerous vivid colors, and Lila giggled from my side. "Typical reaction." She smiled, and I laughed under my breath, taking in the beauty.

All of a sudden Lila got really excited, something I've noticed she has quiet the tendency to do, and grabbed my forearm. She squealed and pulled me to the wall, in front of at least one hundred pictures taken by an old Polaroid camera. I looked at the beauty of them all, whether nature shots, animals, rural areas, other people, events, and even some of the hallway itself. "Wow." was all I said, looking at all of them.

Lila shook my arm, before pointing to a specifically beautiful picture directly in the middle of the bunch. The picture was amazing, the drowsy and foggy colors blurring a picture of a girl from behind. The girl had long dark hair, and seemed to be sitting in a car. The shot was from behind, so I couldn't see a face, but she was looking out the window, staring into a beautiful field, forever captured in this frame. Her long hair was peacefully waving behind her in strands in the wind, and her arms were crossed in front of her against the door of the vehicle. The whole picture itself was breathtaking in an unexplainable way, and I couldn't decide what it was that interested me so much in it.

"That picture is... lovely." I smiled, looking at the other ones around it. "It's mine." Lila said excitedly, and I shot my eyes to her. "Yours?" I asked in shock, and she nodded excitedly. "I took it." she grinned, and my jaw dropped.

"It's amazing, Lila!" I praised, grinning at her. "You really think so?" she asked hopefully, jumping up and down with her hands clasped in front of her chest. "Of course! It's beautiful!"

She smiled, and Jess walked over. "That's my lovely model, Jess in the picture." she said, and Jess smiled, striking a pose. I laughed and looked back to Lila.

"If you don't mind me asking, does it have a meaning? Like it looks like it could be so deep." I asked, flushing as I realized its probably just some old picture she decided on taking. "Well, kinda I guess. It's like, she's looking at the outside wonderously, while being held back by this inevitable force, also known as a car door." Lila laughed, and I nodded with a smile. "So like, it's like how in the world, we are faced with so many opporutunities I guess, but are always held back by something. I guess it represents the want, the need of freedom." she finished.
