I froze in spot as they greeted each other, praying that no one would notice me. After embracing Jess, the guy with them looked up at me with a smirk. His eyes raked up and down my body shamelessly, and my face flared.

I pulled my shirt over my head, and rushed to grab my cardigan again, slipping it back over my arms. I still felt too exposed. "This is Addi." Jess introduced, and I sat on my bed. The other girl squealed and ran to me, giving me a tight squeeze. "Hey newbie, I'm Lila!" she exclaimed, and backed away to sit next to me on the mattress. I smiled at her, feeling awkward.

I admired her appearance, she has a lot of confidence that I wish I had. Her long hair was dyed white, with a tinge of violet that was more visible around the roots. It was cut like Jess', except with more layers.Underneath her frayed bangs, her light purple eyes (definitely contacts), sat underneath a dark line of eyeliner, and her nose had a tiny stud on it. She smiled at me, and I noticed she had a tongue piercing as she spoke. Her outfit was similar to Jess' as well, black skinny jeans, with a black crop top underneath an over sized cardigan, displaying a piercing in her navel, and a small tattoo on her hipbone.

I looked away from her and to Jess, glaring at her. What happened to 'they're in class'

She shrugged towards me and smiled, and the guy introduced himself.

"Ashton." he smirked, looking down at me. He tried to pull me in a hug, but I stuck my hand out instead, and he snorted. After shaking my hand, he crossed his arms in front of himself. He was wearing black skinny jeans, just like the girls, and a black tee shirt. Even his shoes were black. As I looked him up and down, he smirked at me. "Like what you see?" he asked, and I blushed.

He had a slight accent, appearing on certain words. I can't tell what it is yet. I noticed his golden hair was slightly curly in the front, and was covered with a beanie on the back of his head.  He had a lip piercing like Jess, and his arm was covered in black swirls of tattoos. I noticed the top of another over the collar of his t-shirt, and was curious as to what they all were.

"Leave her alone, Ashton." Lila defended me playfully, and I smiled smally at her. She grinned and pulled her legs up to her in the bed, sitting criss-crossed next to me. "Is this all you're doing with the room?" she asked, looking around. "Oh, uh, no. I just got here." I explained, crossing my ankles. She nodded.

"What are you here to study, Andi?" Ashton asked me, leaning back against my dresser. "Addi," I corrected, and he smirked. "And music."

He nodded, and for some reason I felt relieved to get his approval. "Oh, so this is your guitar?" Lila asked, pointing at it behind her. I nodded, and she grinned. "Awesome."

"I'm in photography." she exclaimed, clapping her hands together. I smiled at her enthusiasm, and looked to Jess. "I do photography as well, but Ashton and some of the others have been teaching me some music." she smiled. I wondered how many 'others' she was talking about. Did they have keys as well?

"So you're in music?" I turned to Ashton. "Yeah." he grunted, his face set. "Oh, I embarrassed him. He doesn't want anyone to know he helps people." Jess taunted, and if looks could kill, she'd be a pile of bone. I smirked at their playfulness, and looked to Lila, who was flipping through a box of Jess' vinyls.

A loud shrill from my phone made us all jump, and Ashton grabbed my phone from the dresser before I could get to it, reading the caller ID. I stood up beside him, trying to reach for it, but he laughed and turned away. Before I knew what was doing, he answered it for me.

"Hey Nikki!" he squealed into the phone in a high pitched voice. Lila cackled behind him with Jess, and I glared at him as he spoke to my best friend. He set it to speaker phone and held it up higher when I tried to reach for it. It was then that I realized, he's extremely tall. I groaned and crossed my arms, and Nicole seemed confused from the other side of the line.
