Maya was confused if who this sender is. Clearly, her name wasn't Juliet and how did this person get my number. She thought about it for a while then remembered, "Oh I know who this is."
Maya: Riley, I know this is you >:)
Riley: Lucky guess there, mate! :D How you doin'?
Maya: Pretty good not until I received your text. Hahaha! Kidding :P
Riley: Forever mean. >:D
Maya was surprised that she's having a conversation with Riley without the usage of a computer. She felt somehow intrigued with Riley, as if she knew him like an old friend from the past before. But she was never 'cause she never met him personally. Somehow, she was experiencing these so-called "sparks" in which she was enchanted to meet Riley in an unexpected manner. She just shrugged it off.
Hours have passed and they're still talking to each other nonstop. Maya laughed at Riley's jokes even if it was sent via texts. She was glad to have someone to talk to and she had someone who knows how to relate with her. Is that infatuation taking over her? Maybe.
Maya and Riley was texting, as usual, until Riley asked:
Riley: Maya, has a guy ever sang a song for you? :)
Maya: Uhm. No, actually. No one ever sang to me. Well, except my mom. Hahaha :)
Riley: Oh. Okay. Sooo.. I was just wondering if maybe I could sing something for you? It's kinda embarrassing but you're the only person I'm comfortable with to hear me sing, sooo please?
Maya: Ha? Uhm. Sure. :D
Maya was stunned! She never knew that a guy would actually sing for her. Best so far?
Not long after, Riley called Maya as soon as she sent her reply. She answered
Maya: Hello? Riley? *nervous*
