*** 10 years laters ***
Rachel's P.O.V.
'Finn lets go! We're gonna be late for Brielle's graduation!'
It was 3:00 and we should have left ten minutes ago. Brielle is graduating high school today and wow this is something i would never miss in a million years. Its co crazy how over ten years ago we were just adopting her and now we're going to watch her graduate, and then go to college and get married and have children of her own. And we're going to have to live this all over again when Michael graduates and when, Capri and kora our five year old twins graduate too. I was snapped out of my thoughts when finally everyone came down the stairs and we all piled into a cab on our way to the school. Thanks god we were able to reserve seats weeks ago or we wouldn't have any. The graduates went by when finally Brielle was called. I was a sobbing mess up and couldn't take pictures do Finn did for me. Watching her get her diploma was such a proud moment. I cannot be more proud of her. I have watched her grow up into a beautiful young women she is today. I watched her grow form the poor insecure quiet orphan to this confident, talented gorgeous women. I helped her when she got her first boyfriend, that then leading to her first heartbreak, when she went to her first dance. So many other things, that just don't seem like enough. And to still have my three other wonderful children is such a blessing. My life is amazing and so much more than I ever thought it could be. I have the most wonderful husband who I'm grateful has been with since high school, four healthy bright beautiful children, a fantastic career on Broadway, awesome friends and man does the list go on. It's unbelievable.
Finns P.O.V.
My baby girl just graduated, this is a feeling I will never forget. And to know that I have my other children to experience this with is truly a gift. And I have Rachel to thank for that. I have a great life and it's all thanks to her. Speaking of my wife I haven't seen her at all during the party we were throwing for Brielle. I looked outside and in the house and she wasn't anywhere until I looked on the balcony and found her. She was looking at everyone outside at the party I could tell she was in deep thought so I went behind and out my arms around her waist she then steeped out of her trance and put her hands on top of mine.
F-"what are you thinking about Rach?"
R-"life. Us, our family and just everything."
F-"yeah it's pretty amazing huh?"
R-"yeah. I mean look at this our family and friends. Look at our children how happy they are and beautiful and healthy."
F-" I know. This is all because of you Rachel, you gave us this and I so thankful. You're my comet."
R-"what?"
F-"It was a comet. The boy saw the comet and he felt as though his life had meaning. And when it went away, he waited his entire life for it to come back to him. It was more than just a comet because of what it brought to his life: direction, beauty, meaning. There are many who couldn't understand, and sometimes he walked among them. But even in his darkest hours, he knew in his heart that someday it would return to him, and his world would be whole again... And his belief in God and love and art would be re-awakened in his heart. The boy saw the comet and suddenly his life had meaning." (A/N one tree hill quote cause it's the best show ever :) )
R-"you know you're my comet too. And you helped to ya know. With everything."
F-"Our Everything."
