-Third Person P.O.V.-

Quiet notes coming from a small radio escaped its decently sized speaker and a slim, slender female, who was sitting right next to it, had turned the volume up by a little bit. Hermione sat there, on the cold floor, humming to the melody of "O' Children". She moved a few strands of her long, frizzy brown hair, that fell into her face, behind her ears. She had a pained expression planted on her face, due to all the stress she has been put through from Hogwarts. Though, the music seemed to make her forget about everything. The music soothed her. The young girl turned her head to the side after she heard footsteps approaching behind her. It was her best friend, whom she loved dearly, Harry Potter. He didn't say anything to her when he stopped in front of her. He just simply held out his hand, as if it was a gesture of him wanting to dance, and she gladly took his hand. He knew what she's been going through, and he thought it would be nice to make her feel better.

The girl stood up, and that was when Harry decided to twirl her around. He pulled her into his arms and held her in his warm embrace. The couple swayed side to side for the majority of the time, with a few twirls and gallops across the room. The female had placed her head on the crook of Harry's neck, with a light blush appearing on her cheeks. Just being in his presence made her feel better, no matter how bad the situation was. The thought of him made her smile with delight. She couldn't deny it, though, she was madly in love with him; and little did she know, he felt the same way about her. Harry turned his head, only to notice that she was beaming with delight.

"Having fun, aren't we now Hermione?" Harry playfully teased her.

"Oh, quiet you! I'm only smiling because you're with me!" She softly hit his chest, laughing quietly. Her cheeks were burning; her blush was clearly visible.

That was when Harry pulled her close to him, even closer than she already is. A low, scratchy hum escaped through his lips. His hums were following the beats of the melody when no voices were heard, but he immediately chimed in quietly when the singing began. Harry moved Hermione's arms to where they wrapped around his neck, and his hands traveled to her waist. Hermione placed her head on the crook of his neck once again and listened to Harry as he sang quietly in her ear.

"Hey, little train! Wait for me!
I once was blind, but now I see~!
Have you saved a seat for me?
Is that a stretch of imagination?"

Harry eventually finished singing the song, but the two remained together. Their swaying stopped, but they were linked together. Hermione moved her head away from Harry's neck and she looked up at him, gazing deep into his eyes. Harry did the same, licking his lips nervously. The two leaned in close together, creating a small space between the both of them. Soon, the space was closed and their lips crashed into each other. The both of them brushed against each other; the kiss filled with love and passion. Hermione cupped Harry's cheeks and Harry wrapped his arms around her waist, only to pull her closer. They didn't pull away until after a few minutes passed.

Hermione looked away, shy obviously and Harry had chuckled nervously.

"Y'know...I've been meaning to tell you something.." Harry coughed. "I know how Ron hurt you and how you've been stressing over the whole Hogwarts thing, so I never really found the perfect time to tell you...I love you, Hermione Granger. With all of my heart.." He pulled away from her, looking to the side. "I understand if you don't feel the same, I'm just glad that I got this off of my chest.."

"Hey, hey, hey.." Hermione gently moved his head, so that he could face her. She brushed her lips against his again, before pulling away and smiling at him with a bright, red blush appearing on her cheeks. "You don't have to worry anymore...because I feel the same way. I love you too, Harry Potter."
