Present Day.

I woke up to loud footsteps coming up the stairs and what seemed two voices arguing. Suddenly loud knocks on the door woke Derek up.
"Please stop! They had so much to worry about!" Scott said from the other side of the door. "Scott?" I said under my breath. "I don't care! Derek needs to know this as soon as possible." Derek finally got up, put his pajama pants on and walked to the door.  He opened it to find a girl standing next to Scott. "Cora?" Derek said. His sister.
"Scott what's going on?" I said when she looked at me on Derek's bed. I don't think she knew her brother had a boyfriend. But she seemed to not care. "Cora what are you doing here?" Derek said rubbing his eyes with the palm of his hand. "Derek we need to get out of here." Cora replied, Derek's eyes shot open. He was suddenly fully awake. "They found us. He found us!" Cora said. A tear falling down her cheek. "That's impossible." He said without moving, his face was pale like a vampire. "Derek he's here. He's coming for us." She finally said.

"Raven." Derek whispered. I got off the bed and walked to where Derek, Cora and Scott where standing. "Who is Raven?" I asked taking Derek's hand in mine. "That's impossible. I thought he was going to understand! That he was going to understand what we went through." He said ignoring my question. "I guess not." Cora replied wiping her tears off her face. Derek walked over to his couch and sat throwing his head back. "Derek what's going on?" I asked again sitting next to him. He sighed and put his head between his hands. "Raven is another supernatural creature, my family and his people had a feud ages ago. My mom's pack and his people made a pact to never cross paths. To never hurt each other." He replied, his eyes looking down a the floor. "Is he a werewolf?" Scott asked. His arms crossed. "No. He's a demon." Derek replied looking at Scott. "And he's more powerful than we thought."
"What did you do to piss him off?" I asked.
"Three years ago before we came back to Beacon Hills, Derek and I were living in the outskirts of Las Vegas. We thought that we were going to be safe but we were wrong. Out of nowhere, a demon called Ronove came looking for us. We never found out how he knew where we were staying. He said that Raven wanted to see us, that it was an emergency. But we knew that it was a set up. After we refused to go with him, Ronove told us that we were better off dead than alive. That they should of never signed that pact. He wanted to kill us, Stiles." Cora said sitting across from me. "But what he forgot is that Cora and I were the product of two Alphas. That we were stronger than him." Derek replied looking down. "We needed to defend each other. We were not going to let ourselves get killed for something we weren't a part of. So when he came to me, anger built inside of me. I blacked out. The only thing I remember is my hand penetrating his body. He died instantly." Derek said. His eyes meeting mine for the first time that morning. I could see he was exhausted. He was tired of running. And I knew that this time he was not going to run away. "Derek, you know we're here for you. We will help you no matter what. You helped us bring Stiles back. We will help you bring Raven to the ground." I heard Scott say. Determination in his voice. I know Scott better than anyone in this room and I knew that he will not rest until we destroy Raven. Until he sees Raven bleed.

After what happened to me, my dad decided to keep me on the loop and just make an excuse of why I wasn't at school these past few weeks. "He's got a really bad virus and the doctor told him to stay home while the symptoms disappear." He said every time they asked about me at school. After a good time of processing my thoughts, I decided to go back.
This new life as a fox has been very foreign for me. For a long time, I thought I was going to be the only human left standing. I guess not.
I walked down the hallway to find Derek going through his stuff in his locker. I wrapped my arms around his waist and slowly kissed the back of his neck. The smell of leather from his jacket hit my nose. "God I love that smell." I whispered. My hand moved down his side. "I thought you loved me." He replied turning around and grabbing my hands in his. "Well... That too." I said kissing him on the lips.
We walked together to our class, his hand interlocked with mine. "I still can't wrap my head around the whole Raven situation." He said without even looking at me. "Cora is with Deaton right now. You know? He's helping us trace Raven before he comes closer to us." He continued, now his beautiful green eyes met mine. I could see he was tired. "Derek, are you even sleeping well? I mean I heard you talk during the night but I'm not sure if you're awake or just having a dream." I said stopping in mid hallway. I turned Derek to me and grabbed his head between my hands. "He's not going to hurt us. We're even stronger now. We're a pack full of supernatural creatures. We can take him down. Alpha werewolves, betas, banshees, coyotes, foxes. We can take them, Derek. We will." I said pulling him in for another hug. "I know." He said in my ear.
The bell rang but we didn't bothered to move. We embraced the moment and finally decided to go to class.
