Chapter Six

I watched in horror as Mabel cut a thin no fatal line across her throat.
"You Wanna bet!" She yelled at me.
"Stay you'll stay or I'll cut my head off and you'll have to live with the fact that you could have saved me!"
Sixer and Fez looked at her with a mixed look of fury and terror. She brought the knife to her chest.
"Enough!" I cried out snapping my fingers, taking me and Mabel away from the others. I disintegrated the knife from her hand.
"If I had known you would have done this I never would have told you the truth." I sneered.
"W-where are we?" She asked looking around the empty white void.
"The mindscape." I answered dryly.
"Cool!"
I chuckled.
Well I guess she is never gonna change. She smiled.
"You laughed!" She gushed. "And not some creepy demon laugh, a real laugh."
I laughed again.
"Who wouldn't laugh at you stupid." I teased. She giggled in return.
"I missed you." She started softly. I twisted my black glove awkwardly.
"I guess I kinda missed you too."
"Does that mean you'll come back with me?!" She exclaimed, joy oozing out in her voice. My fave hardened.
"No."
"Why not?" Mabel asked.
"Because I'm happy Mabel! Mom and dad never liked me, I could see it and I was always seen as a loser and lame in school! Now here I am, feeling worth something!" I confessed. I paused for a moment before continuing softly.
"I have a dad. A person who has never lied to me before, can you honestly say I had that here?"
"You had me Dipper was that enough!" She cried.
"I'm not ready to be with you Mabel."
(not in the romantic way)
I dropped a page from my journal in front of her.

"Know this;

A day will come when Bill will look weak compared to the evil coming.

I can't try to stop it with you at my side, we can't be like how we were.

Promise me this though,

Stay alive."

Ya ya I know short chappie but I updated twice in an hour, that is a record for me!
