Oliver's P.O.V

You know, when I first realized that Elsa Bush had been the hunter Alpha Jayden captured and is surprisingly mated too, I was thrilled. Here I am thinking that, maybe I have my best friend back. Maybe I have my other sister back. Gavin may have been the one closest to her, but she was still someone special to me.

Before Silver Moon, we were just some weak rogues, trying to survive the life of loneliness and betrayal. After escaping the harsh environment that shouldn't even be considered a pack, Gavin had taken both Nina and I away from our abusive father and horrible excuse of an Alpha, forcing us on the run. It was only about six months after when we finally found a town that wasn't claimed, settled down and tried to live a life. We all went back to school, we all got jobs and we all rented a very small, one bedroom apartment in some dangerous looking town.

Everything was going great, especially when Gavin met Elsa. He knew she wasn't his mate but that didn't stop the connection he felt towards her. He was convinced that she was his one and only, the love of his life. I've never seen him so obsessed with someone like he was with that girl.

You see, Gavin was very emotionless. Other than proving his love for Nina and myself, he never really showed any interest in anyone or how our father beat us. He was always like a stone wall, almost impossible to be knocked down. So when he met Elsa, it was like she brought out those emotions that he was so desperately to trying to hide. He would come home every night, going on and on about this stunning girl in his Physics class who sat right in front of him. He would go into full detail about her hair and how long and shiney it was. How it would glow whenever a shaft of light would hit it. How the curls fell just passed her shoulders, causing him to suppress the urge to reach out and feel it. He would go into detail about her pasty pale skin that looks smooth and soft, how he just want to caress his fingers over the tenderness. How her hazel eyes made him melt with just one glance. How her lips were puffed, lightly pinked and kissable.

He was the definition of a love sick puppy. Elsa may not have been his mate, but she might as well have been. I remember the day she had finally agreed to go out with him, how he came home dancing with pride and happiness. Nina and I couldn't understand what made this girl so special... that was until we met her for ourselves.

Elsa was the loner girl in school. The bad and intimidating girl with the leather jacket and combat boots. Sat alone at the lunch table, could never speak to anyone without the usual level of sarcasm. Honestly, I was scared of her a little. She just had the persona about her that gave me chills, but other than that, she was pretty damn awesome.

Other than being very guarded, when Elsa wanted to have fun, let's just say nothing could stop her. After a while, Gavin and her were in love, Nina and Elsa were like sisters, and Elsa and I were best friends.

But that all changed when Gavin finally revealed his true self, as Elsa than had to reveal herself as well. Boy, talk about a bomb explosion. No, it wasn't a bomb... It was more like a nuclear explosion.

Let's just say, Gavin changed. Not only did he go back to being his emotionless self, he became cold as ice. He would constantly snapped at Nina and I, we weren't ever allowed to mention Elsa's name again. He once attacked me after I yelled at him for being reckless and coming home drunk. Luckily Nina was there to stop him.

So when we were captured by Silver Moon, Gavin didn't put up much of a fight. He was ready to die, ready to leave this world. I've never known Gavin to give up like that before. Especially when he was disappointed when we weren't killed and welcomed into the pack. Now he has become the second head Warrior, volunteering to go to packs and make deals and alliances in anyway he can.
