My name is Cynder and I am a female snowy owl. I was kidnapped from my hollow when I was a hatchling. My parents were overrun and killed by a band of evil owls who are called the Pure Ones. I was practically raised by them which was ok I guess. The leader of the Pure Ones is named Metal Beak and his mate is Nyra. As I awoke I noticed that the Pure One soldiers were bringing more owlets.
"What's going on" I asked as I flew down to my friend Iris.
"They have kidnapped more owlets" she said turning her head towards me.
"Why do we need more soldiers or pickers"?
"I think both" she said trying to get her feathers clean.
"Hmm are they going to make us moonblink the young owls"?
"Probably" she said looking at 100 owlets walking in St. Agelious.
"Have any of the Guardians been spotted".
"No we haven't seen any so far but we are certain they will be coming".
"Iris, Cynder get down here we need you".
"Shall we" she said as she opened her wings and glided down to where Jatt was. I than followed her and quickly caught up with her and then looked for him.
"Where is he"? Iris asked looking at the ground.I then heard Jatt and Jutt arguing there they are I said nudging my head in that direction and started descending towards him.
"I should be the one that says it" Jatt said angrily.
"No i'm saying it" Jutt said hitting him over the head with his wing. Iris and I landed in front of them our talons clicking against the stone floor.
"What are you guys fighting about"?
"This time" Iris added.
"Well Jatt thinks that everyday he gets to tell the owlets how to work".
"No you get to talk all the time" Jutt said angrily.
"Guys calm down why don't you just say it together that way you both get a chance to talk"?
"That's a great idea what do you guys think"? Iris asked.
"Well I guess we could give it a shot" Jutt said and Jatt looked at him and nodded. Iris and I led the owlets to where the moon shined the brightest and made them all stand in lines.
