The preliminary round got over. Everyone who made through, were told to go to the ground floor. The Hokage said,

"Congratulations for making through the preliminaries. You all have fought hard to reach here.
"All of you have a months time to train for the third stage. Utilise this time carefully. Don't do something foolish and get injured." He glanced at Naruto.

"Ibiki, show them the sheet."

Ibiki Morini, the proctor of the written exam, showed us a piece of paper:

After we were dismissed, I started searching Kakashi.

"Hey Asuma sensei!"

"Have you seen Kakashi?"

"I'm afraid not. I think he went to the hospital. What did you want? Can I help?"

"I wish you could . Thanks anyway. Bye!"

I headed home. I took a shower and went to eat some dango. I decided to take a days rest. My joints hurt alot. Speaking of hurting, I have Sasuke's glove. I'll give it to him later. Holy sage of the six paths. I have to fight the sound moron again. And if I don't find Kakashi tomorrow, he gonna be dead.

Early next morning, I started my quest for Kakashi. It took a lot of time and it was pretty sunny today.

Finally I found him on the foots of the Hokage mountain.

"Hey sensei!"

"Oh hi (y/n)! What's the matter?"

"Um........ I was thinking that could you train me for the third stage?"

"Actually I was going to talk to yku about this very topic today. Ah, well. We get to save a day. Come closer."

I went closer.

"Turn around."

He took my hand and started tying it behind my back.

"What are we going to do sensei?"

"Help me tying my hand."

"But what are we going to do?"

"Climb. You climb lord first's face. I will climb lord second."

It was really hard. Believe me. I had to use my chin at times. When I almost reached the top, I saw someone on the top.

Naruto: what about me?
