Scarlet walked down the side of the bridge, watching the cars and people pass by her. She went to a neighbor hood near the bridge. She saw a home with a little gold light around it. She thought it was some sort of sign. Scarlet stepped onto the porch and knocked, then fell through, forgetting she was a "fallen angel". When she walked in all she heard was screaming and arguing. It was two parents that were arguing. She walked through the hallway,then found a closed door. She stepped through it to see a young girl crying. She was around 11 years old. But sadly, she was also cutting. "Hi. Can you see me?" Scarlet asked the child. She nodded. "Are you like my guardian angel? Because I don't need one." The little girl wiped her tears but more began to slip from her hazel eyes. "Well not really. You cut?" "Yes, nobody cares about me. My mom and dad hate eachother. Everyone at school hates me. I'm badly bullied.But you probably don't care either."  "No i'm actually here to help you. I struggled. I'm actually dead...I uhm jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge." she look shocked "What's your name?" she asked with a puzzled look. "Scarlet,what's yours?"  "Alexis." she replied. "So. You uhm cut?" she asked Scarlet. "Well I used too. You know, before I was dead." "It's hard to stop. I'm only eleven and I already attempted suicide by trying to hang myself with a belt. Kids can be so evil and hurtful." "Yeah they can. Can you put that down?" Scarlet said referring to the scissors she was hurting herself with. Alexis nodded and put them on her desk. "What do they say to you?" Scarlet asked while sitting down beside her. "They call me annoying, stupid, fat, that I should die, ugly, dumb, and other things." Scarlet shook her head in shame "I just don't understand how they get pleasure from this. They have perfect lives and you never did anything to them yet they still feel the need to verbally hurt you until you physically hurt yourself. Have you told any adult figure at your school?" "No. Just my dad, but he was too drunk to care." "Well you should tell the principal and guidance counselor or stand up to the kids. You can't just let them hurt you like that, Alexis." "I know but I'm scared." "Don't be. They are scared too, that's why they bully you." "I don't get it. What do you mean?" "They're afraid of themselves, Alexis. They don't appreciate themselves so they take it out on other kids, this time it's you they're taking it out on." "Oh. How do I stand up to them?" "I'm not sure, I never stood up to anyone in school. Just tell the principal first. Do you go to a zero-tolerance school?" "Yeah, like where the kid gets suspended if they are bullying somebody?" "Yes." "Then yeah I do." "Well tell the principal. I'm gonna go now. I'll come visit tomorrow. Bye Alexis." "Okay bye Scarlet."
